Hands down best home inspector ever! He is very thorough and helped us 110% with buying our home!…read moreHe spent a good four hours inspecting our new home and definitely is saving us money! Things most inspectors don't catch... he does. We would recommend using him again and again. He even spent time on the phone with my boyfriend days after the inspection and was such a great help. I can't say enough about Mark! Thank you!

I would recommend this company, and I'm not easily pleased…read more This company performed a structural engineering evaluation on a moment's notice just before Christmas 2018 and got it back to me before the end of that year, as promised. They were brought out to look at a sag in the roof of a new addition to a cabin which was completely renovated in 2016/7. They also examined two other parts of the property to offer their opinion, included at no extra charge for the original price of the report which was supposed to focus just on the new addition. In 2019 we chose them to design blueprints to fix the house, which they did for the price quoted in 2018. They worked with us through the process as plans changed once we hired a contractor and removed the ceiling and realized how bad the problem truly was. They also answered my calls as I consulted them during the renovation project. They were both kind and knowledgeable. I would use them again if I had to do it over.

Of these options, Hall Engineers will be your best choice when hiring an engineer. We at Hall Engineering have extensive design experience as well as hands-on working experience in most building trades, including foundation repair, concrete placement, framing, drainage, soil characteristics, plumbing, electrical wiring, roofing, paint/drywall, and HVAC. We find this background sets us apart from others in our approach to problem solving. Accordingly, we can design cost-effective repair techniques by better understanding the varied methods used in construction and repair processes. This allows us to specify a site-specific scope of work consistent with the client's needs and budget.

Do not use this company, I never hired them, but they did inspections on my house via the buyer…read more Accidentally flipped off my fridge breaker, came home after being away for a week to a fridge completely gross, moldy... worst situation ever... contacted them and they blamed it on "storms in the area" which we never had anything bad. Declined to admit fault, offered a small 300$ for new food based on "average" food costs. Mind you there's a meat/processing pandemic going on and getting what we lost for 300$ is never going to happen. Asked for the owner to call me, never received a call, just a text from an automated text line so who knows who was actually texting me... finally reluctantly they upped it to 375$... the ribeyes we lost alone were worth 150$, not including the homegrown pig meat that I can't get replaced... have to go store bought... absolutely the worst company to try and customer service with... still waiting on a phone call from the owner but all I get is a text every once in a while... Don't USE! Cowards and terrible customer service.

As a Seller, we were very disappointed in this firm's ability to perform its inspection of our…read morehouse. It took a number of trips & the staff did not appear to be well-informed or diligent. The inspector for the crawl space asked us to excavate the crawl space AT OUR COST (despite it being the Buyer's responsible cost) through an impermeable moisture barrier, so he could access all areas of the crawl space. We considered this laziness since my husband, over 6' tall, has been throughout the crawl space & our contractor who gave us a cost estimation for the proposed excavation was also able to get through the entire crawl space. The electrician insisted we pull the cover off the breaker switch box because he was concerned it might be a Federal Pacific Breaker box. When we consulted our own electrician, he said it was not a Federal Pacific because of the number of rows of breakers & would have advised us previously. Obviously, an experienced electrician should have had that basic knowledge. The results were multiple delays, visits, phone calls & strife with the Buyer over what should have been non-issues.
