I have had Jennifer Paris state farm for 17 years with only two claims. The last straw was when I tried to insure a 60 year old vehicle. This is a collector car and will be used very sparingly. After a month of waiting they decided that it was not a collector vehicle and charged me five times the original quote, and would not give me a value unless the vehicle has a claim on it! What a crock! It would be great if Jennifer ran her business and didn't just spend the cash in summit county. I will be leaving ASAP!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Rich McGinn wrote me a GL policy on April 12th via phone, took my payment in…read morefull via credit card-$720. Cancelled his meeting with me the next day at the last minute. I came in on the 15th to sign policy. Immediately after signing policy,he stated that he had an issue and he could not insure me and said the policy is cancelled. He said I would get a prorated refund. When I asked for policy cancellation confirmation a few days later, he said I had to sign a cancellation notice. He reversed his previous position and said the policy was still in affect, and that "he was just an agent and could not cancel it" The main company had to do it via a cancellation request. Why didn't he have me fill out cancellation request when I was there? why didn't he tell me he couldn't insure me a few days earlier when he learned of an issue instead of having me waste my time and come to his office, and sign policy only to tell me it would be cancelled? What if I had never followed up on the cancellation a few days later? The cancellation process would have never been started and I would have been paying for a policy that was marked for cancellation from the start and would have paid not only for 60 days of that policy, but also I had another policy written the same day because he told me his policy would be cancelled? All I got was a bunch of double talk, out of pocket $720 until they process the cancellation forms which will take who knows how long before I get a refund- prorated... Terrible service- certainly not what they profess: Insurance with integrity.
