We were trying the usual suspects in Roseville and Rocklin and there was a lot of good teaching but just couldn't get plugged in and connected. Our daughter was 10 at the time and getting her to be excited about going to kids service on Sunday's was challenging for a myriad of reasons. So with all of that said we found a great spot in Rocklin but our daughter wasn't happy. I suggested that we give a local church a try since we live in CH and were well received the first day that we came in and our kid loved the service and made friends on day one. The people are real! No pageantry! Just real people experiencing Jesus! So come as you are and prepare to have an encounter that is real and tangible! This church has shaped our lives in a very profound and meaningful way! We have a small group that we host in our home (which I never thought I would have been one of those people) and we volunteer with the junior high ministry which is great to see you people getting love and support and positivity. Special needs families are comfortable here and make a connection quickly. They facilitate many classes, including grief, Bible studies and many fun programs for children and teenagers. And I had a good feeling about the services and I meanness as a church attending individual for over 40 years . But I've only spent a couple hours there and the people seem genuine and I want to see down the road if I continue to go back there . I kind of want to talk to the pastor a little bit to find out where they stand on healing and other Supernatural manifestations . Including speaking in tongues . And one other sign that isn't a supernatural manifestation but that's baptism of both by water and the Holy Spirit .

What ultimately led us to leave was a personal experience involving a church member who reached out for help. I contacted the church regarding the situation and never received a response. Being completely ignored in a moment like that was extremely disappointing and not what we expected from a church community. There are many other churches in the area that are far more welcoming and compassionate.

Centerpoint community church really puts the community first. Mom went here to this church for the…read morelast few years of her life. She was very strong in her faith with God. She felt at home here. She would send me photos from their Christmas and Easter services. She said she absolutely loved the big stained glass windows. There was a chaplain here , Mr. Larry who got to know mom in her final months. He really helped mom connect with the teachings of Christ and helped her know that her father God was waiting for her in Heaven. He would come to her home as mom was no longer mobile. Mom had her celebration of life service here. Everything went smoothly and it was so beautiful. They had a pianist play during her photo memory. I am so thankful for this church that words cannot describe or express how grateful I am of Centerpoint.
