At £200 per person you really need to love helicopter rides to find this worth while. Luckily my bf received this as a work perk but we still had to pay £30 each to sit at the front to experience the panoramic views (worth it), AND they were charging £10 per picture taken of us.
It's advertised as a 30min plane ride around London but you only pass through central London once following along the Thames. This means you spend 28mins looking at residential houses and the countryside and 2 minutes quickly passing through the landmark sights of London which is all I really care about ha.
The helicopter carries a max 6 passengers. 2 seats at the front and 4 at the back. If you get stuck at the middle 2 seats at the back your view is very restricted. The window seats at the back mean that you can only see on side of London. If you've already spent £200 it's worth paying the extra £30 to secure the best views at the front.
If we paid full price I would have been disappointed but I understand that helicopters are crazy expensive (I think ours was £3 mil!!!) so that's the standard rate. read more
