The negative: Every manager and/or assistant manager we have encountered here for over many years has been rude in their interactions with us. Answers to our queries are short and without a smile or pleasant comments. They've also not acknowledged us as customers if the associate has a question regarding our items at checkout. Very surprising that a Christian company would consistently employ miserable people in the managerial position. What kind of an example are they to the public of a joyful follower of Christ? And if they aren't a Christian, perhaps Hobby Lobby should be reconsidering who they hire to represent their company.

And what do you know, Yup, it's a craft store alright, juust like I thought it would be. And juust like it says on the 40 foot sign on the front of the building.    Aaaand let's see what's down Every isle why don't we. sure, great. How many glue guns does one person need? "what? nothing, nevermind" wow alot of fake flowers up in here too. And what is this thing for? "Put it in the cart already!" of course. "This place is Freakin HUGE, are you sure we can't just skip a few isles?" "NO!" [of course not I said while testing my restraints]    And then it happened. I got it, "it's all clearly right in front of me like a thousand inspirational signs which were obviously made just for yours truly. This store is actually speaking to me through it's merchandise.  W O A H ! !"   Ok, you win. You broke me. I Like This Store Now. Okay, there I said it. Can we go now? Come And Get Your Shopping On!! He bought a used Lionel transformer and an HO Doodlebug Trolley labeled as DNW (Does Not Work). As it turns out the gears had old grease on it that I was able to clean up. He now has a working transformer and trolley. All for $20 so a super great deal from a very friendly staff. Thank you for making a child continue to love trains.

My check engine light came on while driving, so I safely pulled into this mostly empty lot to assess the situation. I contacted AAA for guidance, and while waiting for instructions, I began checking my tire pressure as advised. Shortly after, I was approached by a man I believe to be the owner. I explained that I was dealing with a possible vehicle issue and was currently on the phone with AAA to determine whether it was safe to continue driving. Despite this, I was told--firmly and without concern for the situation--that I needed to move my vehicle immediately. I tried to explain that I was actively trying to assess whether the car was safe to drive, but I was still pressed to leave. The interaction escalated, and I was told I was "entitled" and taking up space during their "busy season," even though I was the only car in a group of ten spots and a largely empty parking lot. At one point, I was told to either hand over my keys or pay $20, which was very surprising in the context of the situation. Once AAA confirmed it was safe to move the vehicle, I left the lot and went to a nearby public area to wait for further assistance. I understand that private parking lots are intended for customers, and I respect that policy. However, I was disappointed by the lack of understanding given the circumstances and the tone of the interaction during what was a stressful and uncertain situation.
