This fee can be WAIVED if the booking is made over the phone or in person. No one at this company facilitates bookings over the phone, forcing the consumer to utilize this predatory booking software that makes all of their money through fees charged to the customer. This company doesn't pay a dime to use Fare Harbor. The booking software is free to them, and the customer pays for it through the fees. Many other alternatives do not make money this way: Bookeo, Resova, Checkfront, etc. This company doesn't have to use predatory software like fare harbor. They could pay for their software instead of forcing customers to pay for it. I have used this taxi service before for a sunset cruise. The staff is very friendly, and the boat ride is lovely. I wish they would change to a different software OR take reservations over the phone so customers wouldn't be forced to pay for their office supplies

There was a tonnnnn of them. Didn't see manatees this time but I don't think they are as common as the dolphins as that's where the dolphins live and reside. It was a great way to start your morning and my 8 year old son absolutely loved it. We don't support seeing dolphins in captivity and he also explained how horrible it is having them in captivity. This is a great way to experience seeing dolphins without the exploitation of dolphins. Highly recommend and would absolutely do this again if I came to town again.

It was a great day on the water with the Amelia River Cruises & Charters company at the helm…read more It was my first time visiting Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach and wanted to get an overlay of the area and the river cruise seemed like the perfect thing to get an overview of the area. And I wasn't wrong! The tour lasted about 90 minutes (and it leaves promptly FYI) and takes you along the shoreline of Amelia Island - past the shrimping boats and past a Civil War era fort - before heading towards Cumberland Island National Seashore. This is where the true fun of the tour was for me. I had no idea really the history of the island and found it fascinating how the Carnegies and Rockefellers and more of the country's elite used this random Georgia seashore as their private escape. The history of both Cumberland and Amelia Islands is incredibly fascinating and the guides for both the Florida and Georgia sides respectively were well informed and personable. Plus - you'll very likely see a ton of great wildlife throughout including dolphins and wild horses and pigs. It's a great way to spend an afternoon in the area and a fabulous introduction to Cumberland Island National Seashore/Park.

There were 16 of us and only 10 or so "pedals"; however, once we learned that there really wasn't a point in pedaling we quickly turned our pedal tavern into a karaoke & bar on the water. Our time was from 6:30-8:30pm, it wasn't too hot and we were able to see the sunset. We all brought our own coolers and cups; however, the boat had their own cups, as well. We also brought a garbage bag, but there was a bucket in the back and a trash can up front near the Captain. Prior to the event, I would just double check where you are set to meet. Originally we were supposed to meet at Met Park and then visit River City Brewing Company during our half-way point, but the day prior our launch location had changed. So we ended up taking off at Friendship Fountain (next to River City Brewing Company) and then this also served as our half-way point - which we took some pre & mid-way shots :) I am glad that I did it and loved the people that joined in on the fun, we would definitely do it again (if we could fill it up) even if only to enjoy a two hour boat cruise on the river. They have CashApp for tips - you just have to make sure the correct sign is up but they also have a jug for cash tips.

An amazing ride as we traveled down to St.Augustine and just laid back and enjoyed the quiet space, the sunshine , and the wind in our hair. We stopped for lunch In St.Augustine and there are plenty of places to stop including beautiful beaches. What a great way to relax with out of town guests and get a tan at the same time. The marina has a bar if you want to hang out after the ride the over. If you're new to Jacksonville, this is a wonderful way to explore the waterways and let someone else do the driving. You can expect to see ducks, turtles, manatees, other birds, beautiful houses and more. You can paddle by Wicked Barley and maybe even stop for some lunch! This is one of our favorite spots.
