ADVENTURE ONN IS A HIDDEN CARSON JEM FOR ALL THE LITTLES!!! We hosted our son's 1st birthday here and could not be any happier with the space and all that was included! Chantell the owner, is the best and super easy to communicate with. She also is so willing to help with the ideas on theme and how to make the space feel unique and special for your party! She did the balloon arch & suggested we bring in some bales of hay to finish off the look! She also has a long list of vendors to help cater to all your party needs!! Setup and clean up was very easy! Our son loves a good soft play zone so we knew we wanted to have a party that included it. All the kids had a blast the entire time. Tons of free parking & overall our guests had a great time. We will definitely be keeping Adventure Onn in mind for future parties!!!!

The owner also did the balloons, name and number marquee.

Absolutely amazing! The owner is so sweet, responsive and easy to work with. The space was incredible and all guests loved it! We will be booking again for sure!

I was looking for a nice place to have my baby shower that's also close by to where I live & close enough for all of my guests. This place is fairly new to Carson & it's beautiful! The owner, Chantell, is so talented & she literally created my dream baby shower! This place is beautiful, accommodating for big parties, & has a big enough parking structure for all of your guests. Plus, if you just want to show up to your event with all of the decorations already done for you, this is the place for you. Chantell is great at communicating with you about your event & bringing your vision to life. Would 100% recommend & I would definitely have another event here.

    Indoor play space

Cute, trendy & clean indoor playground in the heart of Carson near city hall/ihop/green door coffee! We attended a St Patrick's themed Paw Patrol hosted event. Toooo adorable. My son is obsessed and these are the best kind of playgrounds when it's too chilly outside, but you want your little ones to get their energy out. It is a family owned play space and they rent the venue out to have private parties as well. Highly recommended! Check them out! We will definitely be back :)

We loved this space! I found this location on google. I was looking for a small space for my daughters winter birthday. It turned out so perfect! The owner is so nice and accommodating. The space is on a main sweet but I love how the venue has a back door that leads to the parking garage with plenty of parking spots for guests. Highly recommend! Can't wait to book out next event and tell family and friends.

That matters, especially in a place where the menu can feel a little ceremonial if you don't already know what you're looking for. The only knock is that the room needed air. Badly. Tea is supposed to slow you down, not make you feel like you're quietly melting while choosing a gift. There was also a little too much nudging toward flavors I had already said I wasn't interested in, but nothing offensive. More enthusiastic than annoying. Overall, this is a solid place with real charm. Fix the temperature, ease off the upsell a touch and it becomes much easier to recommend without an asterisk.

Service is good, the tea is very affordable and brewed very strong in somewhat large, absurd yet cute ceramic elephant shaped tea pots, complete with special sponge attachments to absorb drips. Why they can't use a teapot design that doesn't drip as much to start with is probably a conversation for another day - one I didn't bother to have... Given how affordable it is, you can't expect it to compare with high end tea rooms like you'll find in London, and that's totally okay.

We ended up having my daughter's birthday here. Unfortunately, the ladies that were in charge of…read moreher birthday didn't have as much energy as I had seen in other birthday parties. (I put in the request via email about people with a good amount of energy, since I noticed a different in two parties I had been to, but none of the requests that I had placed via email mattered. I asked for high energy and mentioned that my daughter loves music, and they had lower energy and had to ask them to turn up the music. I mentioned that we didn't need a cake since she was getting one later, and they brought a cake.) At some point during the birthday party, I had to actually ask one of the ladies there to turn up the music because we could hardly hear it. That was really disappointing since my daughter really loves music (which I had mentioned in my email to them earlier that week). They didn't do any singing or karaoke since we hardly even heard the music. Super disappointing. It's cute in the sense that the kiddos can dress up and get their makeup and hair done and they did a great job at that part. I also liked that they took photos and then airdropped them to your phone after. The way it's set up, the birthday kiddo rings a bell to ask for more food or whatnot for her friends. The whole set up honestly doesn't seem to foster the values I want in my kiddo, but for a one time thing, I suppose it can make the birthday kiddo special. I feel like they could do something more fun like ringing the bell each time someone said birthday or something to that effect. Given my experiences here as the host of a birthday, it's cute but wouldn't do a birthday or event here again just given the overall service. Also, you'll end up tipping the people helping out, and that will be extra (I think we paid almost an extra 100). From a parent perspective, it's a little awkward. You are told to put "drop offs encouraged" but a lot of PV moms end up hanging out or not knowing if they should stay or go. I've paid similar amounts to other types of birthdays and have definitely felt like the value was worth it. This place, not entirely sure, but understand it's an institution and place of tradition in the area. You have to bring your own food, but they don't serve cake. Make sure you bring socks.

The lady who does the makeup, acting and orchestrating the flow of the party was pretty amazing and in character at all times. She was quick on her feet and funny. The interior was a little girl's fantasy world. They had costumes for boys too that included Mickey Mouse. There were tons of Princess dresses and matching footwear from sandals to heels to boots. The sizes ranged as well from little toddler girls to bigger girls. There's a fashion show room with a stage and tons of stuff to look at. The tea party room had a whimsical giant heart shaped table. The party I went to had a princess character do story time but I'm unsure if she's provided with the venue or if that's from a separate agency. It seemed like the Princess was familiar with the space. The makeup room was fun with two makeup artists. The girls got to do their hair, nails and makeup (or face stickers). The bad: I wish they tried a little harder to involve my shy kid. I know they don't have time to spend coddling shy children nor do they want to be pushy but I think a little encouragement would've helped with a few of the kids. The interesting: They don't allow kids to eat messy cake so they instead have a candy plate with cotton candy, sour rope, icing covered animal crackers, cookies and more. The teapots don't have lids (perhaps for quicker refills and because toddlers might not know to place their other hand on top to prevent the lid from falling).

You can tell this team takes pride in what they do. The wine tasting was beautifully curated, and the staff did such a great job walking us through each pour, sharing helpful details, and making the whole experience feel relaxed but still elevated. Every question we had was answered with ease, and the pacing was spot-on. Dinner was just as impressive. Our table shared the chicken, steak, and salmon, and every single dish was outstanding. The chicken was flavorful and perfectly cooked, the steak was tender and rich, and the salmon was beautifully prepared--fresh, delicate, and full of flavor. Sharing everything family-style made it even better because we got to try a little of everything, and honestly, there wasn't a single miss. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. We felt genuinely taken care of the entire evening, and it made the night feel special. This is the kind of service and dining experience that makes you want to come back immediately--and bring friends. Highly recommend for a wine tasting, date night, or special occasion. Recently reopening after a long hiatus for brunch, lunch, happy hour, and dinner during weekends,…read morethe Reef Restaurant serves up a modern medley of dishes, with a killer view. Originally opening in 1958 on the Pier J peninsula man-made landmass that houses both the Queen Mary and Carnival Cruises port (if one takes a Carnival cruise out of 'Los Angeles', it's really here in Long Beach), the restaurant dining room closed before the pandemic, with the space only being open for private events since then. Our bus from downtown dropped us off a bit early, so as we explored the grounds while waiting for the restaurant to open, we noticed a small wedding ceremony was being performed in an outdoor garden area...so private events are still happening. But the restaurant portion has been closed until now, just reopening last weekend. Current hours are 11:30 - 9:00 pm, Th - Su. We came back around 11:30, and the doors had been opened and staffed for a bit. We put our names down to the friendly hostess, Toni. Others were waiting in the comfortable lounge as well, and we got seated third (first outside) soon after. The waterfront dining views were outstanding, similar to dining at the Queen Mary, with views of the downtown Long Beach skyline. We got to experience a beautiful California June day, with a large umbrella providing shade and ocean breezes providing comfort. George introduced himself as our waiter and took our drink order, and soon after, our food order. It was brunch menu time, which meant some special items were on the menu, one of which we ordered. It wasn't cheap, but my wife and I agreed that the food and drink were fabulous. Bottomless Mimosas ($22) - they didn't require everyone at the table to get it, so got it just for myself, and it was refreshing, not too sweet and cloying, nor too carbonated. I started out with the Dragon Fruit & Watermelon, and loved it, ending up getting two refills. Then tried the passion fruit & tarragon (next best) and the pineapple & Jalapeno (least favorite). All came in a large wine goblet (instead of the traditional flutes), and it was kinda crazy how the smell of the tarragon and the jalapeno (separately) hit your sense of smell as you tilted the glass to your mouth. It makes me appreciate the thinking behind creating a great drink, and this was definitely that....the best bottomless drinks I might have ever had. One in a Melon ($15) - this was my wife's cocktail and she really enjoyed it, slowly sipping it throughout her meal. It also has watermelon in it (seeing a pattern that the Reef uses watermelon really well in their drinks). It was also one of the prettiest drinks I've seen in a while. Half Dozen Chilled Oysters ($18) - one is at the mercy of the supplier, and these Pacific oysters were just OK, though definitely fresh, with a good mignonette sauce. The shucking could have been slightly better, with a shell piece in one of the oysters. Brunch Board for Two ($85) - felt like I was at a buffet, except with freshly prepared, expensive ingredient dishes, shareable for two. The eggs benedicts were OK. The 1/2 lb of snow crab was basically one cluster and was OK quality (had been cleaned of barnacles, etc, but the meat inside had shriveled a bit). The Teriyaki Wagyu Top Sirloin, served medium by choice, was excellent, reminding me of a very well prepared tri-tip, but more tender. The blackened shrimp skewers was also excellent: plump headless shell on shrimp grilled over an open flame. The sides were two pieces of waffles, crisp bacon strips, and two breakfast spuds (kinda like thick preformed hashbrowns) with sour cream. It was enough for the two of us. Service was excellent throughout, with both George (and later Lucille) clearing our plates as soon as we were done, and making sure we were doing OK. Payment is done at the table, with no added surcharges or fees that we could see. Because it wasn't so busy, we were able to enjoy the ambience a bit more, never feeling rushed. My wife and I had a really enjoyable time at the new Reef Restaurant, and hope to be back soon.

The shrimp cocktail was also tasty. Now, heres where the problem came in. The chargrilled oysters. Apparently, their definition of chargeilled is "moderately warmed, and depressingly undercooked". It's as though they whispered "warm" in its vicinity before serving this to me. I assume upon seeing chargrilled it would be a nice cooked texture with the sauce and cheese being melted well atop it. I was sorely mistaken. It was undercooked, very cold the most cooked thing was the grilled lemon it came with. It was also super gritty which goes to show a poor shucking or collection process. I also had severe stomach pains afterwards, throwing up for a couple hours once I got home. My partner was fine which lead me to trace this horrible pain to you guessed it, bad oysters. Id go back for the happy hour drinks, but the food has scarred me. Eat at your own peril.
