We love this place! The kids love the rides, it's local so there's zero "big trip" planning involved, and it's just an easy, fun night out. We got there just in time to catch a bit of one of the circus shows, the kids thought it was so cool. Then we hit the rides! My son is fearless (fast, high, all of it) and let's just say heights are a bit of a struggle for me but I push through, don't wanna put my fears on them! We pretty much hit every ride in the park. Mid-park, we grabbed a dirty soda, highly recommend the apple puree with creamer in a root beer, it tastes like a caramel apple soda! Also fueled up with chicken tenders, fries, and water. We ended the night catching their NEW drone show (we missed the last one due to so much going on, so glad we caught this one!), such a fun show, the kids are obsessed with anything lights and drones flying around. They have one more next month, so stay tuned! Lines weren't bad, parking was easy, kids were wiped out and in bed quickly. 10/10, we'll definitely be back. Such a family friendly spot! This would be a great gift idea! We've also have come here for their autism events which are perfect for our family!

Adventureland = a perfect summer day with my little one We had the best time at Adventureland Long Island. It felt like a mini getaway full of laughs, snacks, and nonstop fun. The park has that nostalgic charm with bright colors, classic rides, and just the right amount of thrill. What I loved most was how easy everything felt, we just loaded up on Adventure Bucks and used them all over the park for food, games, and treats. We took breaks in the arcade, cooled off on a water ride, and ended the day with a churro and tons of happy photos. Adventureland is super clean, family-friendly, and just the right size to explore in one day without feeling rushed. It was one of those simple, joyful days I'll remember for a long time! Already planning our next visit before summer's over!

The rides and the attractions they offered, the water rides, food and games in the tents.

Great local place for young ones. I'd say it's perfect for ages 4-12. Great value. Lots of fun rides.

We took our 5yr old and she loved it. She was so independent. Going on most of the rides on her own. Didn't want to leave when it was time.

    Does Adventureland accept cash?

    Yes

Was "Adventureland" ever known as "Adventure's Inn"? My mother-in-law insists it was. I say she is confusing the long-closed amusement park in Queens with the park in Farmingdale.

No it was never known as that

Can you bring your own food? And do they check bags?

Yes, they checked bags. We had no problem bringing a few bottles of water, but we did not have other food in our bag. I believe they had signs stating "no food/drink" for a few rides, but they sold snacks/food inside the park.

What is the smallest height that could go on a ride? (Ex: a ride needs u to be atleast 4ft '3 or…

We visited as guests for a birthday party. The facility is spacious with lots of fun activities,…read moreand the kids had a great time overall. However, I think the staff need better training and more consistent supervision. The ball pit is about 3 feet deep, which can be difficult for younger toddlers to climb out of. I witnessed a mother ask a staff member for help because her toddler was stuck. Instead of assisting, the staff member simply stepped into the ball pit and asked the toddler if they could climb out. The child was clearly unable to, which was the reason the mother had asked for help in the first place. In the end, the mother had to climb into the ball pit herself to get her child. Then at the race car track, staff allowed toddlers who were below the recommended height to ride. I personally didn't think this was a major safety concern since the cars have seat belts. However, after one toddler had started riding, the staff asked the child's mother to remove them because they couldn't drive properly. I understand that other children were waiting (including mine), but if staff decide to allow younger children to participate, they should let them enjoy the full experience unless the parent chooses to end it early. The most disappointing experience happened at the Sky Rider attraction. Children under the height requirement were being allowed to ride, but when it was my son's turn, he was stopped and told he was too small. The child in front of him was visibly shorter and had already been allowed to ride several times. Naturally, my son was very upset. I spoke with the staff member to understand why the rules were applied differently. His response was that after he made the comments, he let my son ride once, but "he got sour and ran away." That comment was unnecessary and unprofessional. My son is on the spectrum, and assumptions like that can be especially hurtful. More importantly, all children should be treated fairly. Overall, the playground itself is excellent and offers plenty for kids to enjoy. My biggest concern is the lack of professionalism in some staff interactions.

They're smaller, more expensive and got less games, rides & food. I love the fact that you can visit their website: http://dreamlandamusements.com/upcoming-events-amusement-carnival/#broadway-carnival (for example) and print coupons or take advantage of the pre-sale wristband & ride ticket specials. We usually go right when they open at noon on the weekends to avoid the crowd and stay for about 2 hours or so. This place can get really crowded especially at night. My kids go on all the rides they wanna go on with tickets (4 to 6 tickets per ride), play games ($5-$10 per game) and get food (both cash only). Besides the hot foods, funnel cake, cotton candy and candy apples/ caramel apples is a must! Until next year...
