My daughter and I attended a birthday party at Empire Adventure Park, which is located in the same mall as Dave & Buster's in Westbury. If you have trouble finding it, a quick tip you can actually go through Dave & Buster's, head out the back area that leads into the mall, and then go up the escalator. Once you're at the top, the park is right on your right-hand side. I can't comment on the prices since we were there for a birthday party, but I can say that the food they served chicken tenders, fries, salad, and pizza was surprisingly good. No complaints there! As for the activities, there's a fun jumping area and another section where kids can climb, slide, and play in what's kind of like a ball pit zone. It's really cute and perfect for birthday parties or family outings. It was a good experience of fun, family friendly spot that's definitely worth checking out for group events or a day of play with the kids. read more

It's a great place for older kids. I would not recommend it if your kids are 3 or younger. There were not that many play area for young toddlers. My 2-year-old asked to leave after just 30 minutes. Otherwise staff was friendly and the whole place looked clean. Admission fee was reasonable and free for adults. Went inside Samanea Mall with my daughter & her friend after dinner and came across this trampoline place on a Saturday evening. They were begging me to let them jump for an hour so I caved since we had time and it wasn't very busy (5:30-6:30 pm). Pricey- $76 (2 ppl) for 60 min. + purchase of socks, which was mandatory but they had a lot of fun- jumping, climbing, ziplining & playing basketball. All the staff were friendly and helpful- I also inquired about their birthday packages- quite intriguing but over $1k tho!? Came last week with my kids and their cousins to give them a chance to let loose, and they had an absolute blast! Two hours of nonstop, exhilarating fun, and honestly, they didn't want to leave. I really appreciated that there's plenty of seating for parents to relax and watch, which made the experience comfortable for everyone. I didn't try the food, but they offer your typical concession stand options. The only tricky part is finding the entrance. You actually need to walk through the supermarket and take the escalator up. We've been to Empire a few times over the past year and each visit always leaves us wanting to come back. From the moment we walk in, I love how organized the sign in process is. Even if there's a line, someone will come out and help so the line never gets too long or lasts more than a few minutes. The entire space is clean, well staffed, and has such a good array of games and obstacle courses. It was these visits that made this the perfect venue for my son's 9th birthday party. From the moment we did the online booking, we were in constant communication with the staff. The day of the party, Angelique and Will made us feel welcomed and supported. My son is nonverbal autistic and some of his friends were also on the spectrum. We needed something more free range so everyone got to do what felt best for them. Angelique and Will checked on us and were always available if we needed them. They decorated the room, doted on the guests, and took care of all the little details so all the families could focus on their kiddos. My favorite thing about them was how understanding they were of my son and how he doesn't necessarily interact with his surroundings like other children do. They gave him space and followed his lead so that he could have the best birthday for him. I truly cannot say enough great things about this place! I've always loved coming just for fun but seeing how their professionalism and organization extends to all areas of their business is truly a remarkable thing. Even in a very crowded day, my daughter and friends got to participate in all activities offered. Each person gets a bracelet that shines blue. When the light turns red, times up. There's an area for toddlers, and I think my two year old would love it. Next time we'd like to try the food. Wings and pizza looked good. There's also a bar for adult beverages. I came here with my friend and our kids on a Friday night to jump and have a good time. They had a toddler special which was two hours for $20. We bought our own grip socks, but the worker said we had to buy their socks which I thought was kind of a rip off. The place had a few areas for the kids to jump and they had a great time. We attended a birthday party here. Like all the other posts it was so disorganized. We followed the children around from area to area. They were checked in quickly. Then went to two different areas and a round of laser tag. The private party rooms are very small. There is more room on the public tables. I will say there was one staff member walking around vacuuming the rug. When we were invited to party room there was not enough room, no forks, and no napkins. They asked for napkins and forks and then I saw the hostess of the party and her friends have to get forks and napkins. The guys couldn't fill pitchers of soda and water fast enough. The smell of wings and feet were so bad. They dropped the bin of shoes in the room. The children's feet from all the vouching and running. My Lord! Definitely listen to the lady who suggested to park in Dave and Buster and walk to the back and you end up inside the mall. The staff member from Dave and Busters walked us to Empire. Overall it wasn't that good. The pizza, wings, and fries looked okay but I didn't want to try it. Big children and adults jumping around with little children is a recipe for disaster. read more

I'd been wanting to check out this new children's indoor amusement center since they opened inside Samanea Mall and finally had the opportunity on Labor Day. I was actually surprised they were open and it wasn't very crowded either! Win win! There was plenty of free parking on the 2nd level right by the walkway that leads to Empire Adventure Park. There is a roof above everything so if it's raining, no worries! I'm not sure how to get to Empire from the first level but I'm assuming next to 99 Ranch or through 99 Ranch. Check in (I did walk in) was smooth and quick. You do have to sign a waiver but it's just scanning the QR code and filling it out which takes a minute. Children 4 and under cost $15.99 and Empire Adventure Socks are required ($3.50). I'm assuming you can reuse the socks for another visit (obviously wash it first) but did not confirm this. Not sure if they accept cash as I paid via credit card. General admission for 5 years old+ start at $30.99. You book according to how much time you want (ie 60 minutes, 90 minutes, 120 minutes). The child gets a rubber-like wristband with a light on it that stays lit blue. I'm assuming once your time is up, the light turns red? When I went, they had a promotion going on for unlimited time so the light remained blue the whole time. For the unlimited promotion days, once you leave the facility, you have to return the bracelet and would have to pay again if you wanted to re-enter. Adults don't need to purchase admission/socks unless you plan on participating with the child. If you do need to go into the play area though, you have to be wearing socks and can leave your shoes right outside the play area. In the maze area, the ceilings are low so even if you are petite (like me), you're going to do a considerable amount of crouching down. Lockers are also available for rent for $8/day with unlimited access (create your own PIN) until you "End Rental". They're pretty spacious in my opinion and can fit maybe 2 small bags and a pair or two of shoes (depending on shoe size). I didn't see many people utilizing the lockers though because it looked like most groups had an adult watching their belongings but I went by myself and it was much more convenient renting a locker plus the fact that I had the unlimited time. There was a good amount of seating for the adults throughout the venue although I felt they could have put a bench or 2 outside the toddler/interactive screen area. Play areas include a dodgeball trampoline area, individual trampolines, toddler soft play area for children 4 and under, laser tag, glide rail, Augmented Reality trampoline games, a giant inflatable bounce house, Ninja Obstacle Course, Adventure Maze, Valomotion climbing wall, interactive screen games (multiball Valomotion), some spinning poles/arms area (I think you have to be a certain height for this), VR Hyperdeck (extra cost) and Esports (extra cost). The food court was just okay in my opinion. Not many options and certain items were expensive. I was disappointed and surprised that they did not sell individual pizza slices, which is what my child wanted. I wasn't going to buy a whole pizza pie of 8 slices for the two of us. We settled for a small tray of Cheese Fries ($5) which tasted okay. I saw a little bar area that was roped off so maybe that's in the works. You can also see a few party rooms in that area. There was a birthday party going on next to Adventure Maze when we were there. There are garbage cans throughout the venue which is good although I feel like they should just be in/near the food area. There was a garbage can right outside the obstacle course and I wouldn't be surprised if kids threw the balls into it. There's bathrooms for women, men and even a family bathroom. In the women's bathroom, there is a changing table in the handicapped stall. It would be nice to maybe have a step stool at the sink for the younger kids so they can reach. I think it would be helpful to have a staff member supervising the spiral slide in Adventure Maze as you cannot see when the child before you gets out of the slide or if someone is climbing up the slide so collisions can happen. Also, maybe a staff member at the Augmented Reality trampoline game area. When we were there, one kid stayed playing games on the trampoline for a really long time while other kids just stood at the sideline waiting. If kids were there for the timed open play, I'm sure they wouldn't want to spend too much time waiting in line. Overall, though a little pricey if you're not there for a promotion, I think there is a lot for children to do! My toddler was there 5 hours (yes, you read that right...where do they get all their energy??) and refused to leave. The facility is the perfect size with comfortable A/C and a fan going. Majority of the staff were young but I had no issues with them. I think Empire is working on having toddler hours which I think would be great for the little ones! read more

Brand new kids adventure park in what was an old abandoned mall that is slowly getting some interesting attractions back. The only strike against this place is the price point. It's high, and they buckle and dime you for socks (you have to use theirs) and pay for a cubby. But that's where the bad ends. This place is epic and massive for kids. I've visited a bunch of the other indoor play centers on Long Island, and this one is a head above all of them! They have a massive trampoline court that includes some augmented reality trampoline games and a zip line. They have laser tag, a three story adventure maze, an inflatable course, and a ninja obstacle course. The staff were nice, it's super new so it's very clean, and they offer some snacks. Went during the holiday weekday and had a great time. You can book your reservation time slot on the website or in person. I would recommend ahead of time so you can go on the express line and also fill out the waiver. It's mandatory to use their socks which are $3 extra. The toddler play was only 15.99 for 2 hours. You don't have to pay for the adult unless they are also jumping. The place is huge with a toddler area, rock climbing, virtual games, laser tag, jungle gym, dodgeball area, and swing. There's also a concession area with a lot of seating. I'd recommend leaving your jacket in the car and parking on the second floor. There are lockers but it's $8 and costs $1 each time you open. I did notice that a lot of people just left their shoes and jackets on the benches. Overall it was a great 2 hours well spent. It definitely got busier as the afternoon went on. Came here with my daughter and two of her friends. It's a lot of fun for the kids. The packages for birthdays looked pretty good and for two hours it's not crazy expensive. As long as the kids are constantly moving and doing stuff and you know making it worthwhile. The snack area in the back is reasonably priced if you're getting snacks and drinks. The pizzas aren't so bad because you're sharing. But some of the other stuff gets a little expensive if it's just for you. Not crazy expensive like you can go to most restaurants and they're comparable but more than I maybe would wanna spend after just buying the socks and the two hour time limit. Considering this place is made for families and there's so many parents there with little kids I would've thought that they would have a place for a mom to nurse. I think they said one area required them to be 7yrs old but there were no signs available until an employee showed up. I read multiple reviews about the parties being disorganized. I called Empire's party department and was assured the poor reviews were when they first opened and they had gained much more experience since then. I was easily swayed as I really wanted to host a party here because it looks fun. The lady told me the first hour is unstructured play so kids go do whatever they want, then come back to the party room for 45 minutes to eat and cut cake, and the last 15 minutes would be a group activity of either laser tag or dodgeball while I pay the bill. Cool. I then booked an 11AM party on the website. I got a confirmation email shortly. I had questions but they always responded by the next business day which was good. I asked what "fountain drinks" consists of and was told Coca-Cola brand products. I ordered a few extra pizza pies for the adults and asked via email that all pies be cut into 16 slices (I also asked the party host the day of in-person). Each room supposedly comes with 12 balloons, but we were only given 6 balloons. Also, I was under the impression we were going to have two party hosts. In an email, Empire stated "for every ten kids you add to a party package, we add a party host." I even stated in my email that we had 20 children, so would appreciate the extra host. No response so I thought all is well. If I had to pay, I would've. However interestingly my party host told me she hosted 30 kids on her own the day before! I thought she must be a rockstar! She did not go over the agenda but I thought its fine since it was just free play until food right? She acted very confident so I just went with it. As soon as the kids arrived she lined them up and brought them to the jungle gym. I was a surprised as I thought it was supposed to be unstructured as I was told by the party department 4 weeks earlier when I booked the party. The host proceeds to disappear for 25 minutes. I had to find her after wondering what's going on since many of my guests are beginning to ask me if they can go to another section. She then comes and takes them to the bounce house and trampolines shortly after. The kids bounces around and she disappears again. 20 minutes later, another party arrives and kicked my group out so their group can go in. My party of 20 kids and 24 parents are all awkwardly standing around not knowing where to go. Again, no signs of the party host. I had to ask someone to find her. She takes them to another jumping area and again, leaves. She doesn't say anything so no one knew if they can venture outside of that jumping zone. It was all so bizarre. I couldn't believe it! Around 12:05 -12:08 she rounds the kids up to go eat. Host did not encourage kids to sanitize hands. Plates, forks, and napkins were out constantly out - I had to go scrambling for them. We were served only water and fruit punch (I was never given an option of what fountain drinks I wanted). Everyone was done eating their nasty pizza (which by the way was NOT cut into 16 slices) and no host to be seen. I saw the time was 12:38 and walked out of the party room to find her to say we have to sing because it was late. It was then that she goes to get the candles and knife. I was so nervous we were going to be kicked out like the other reviewer! Lo and behold as the kids were eating cake, this charge-like person comes in and says to me that we have to vacate. Embarrassing! I expressed we were brought into the room late so need a few more minutes. in which my host says its because our outside purchased food came late which I know is not true because I walked into the room around 11:58 to get water for my sons and it was all there. At that point the hosts announced that when everyone was done eating they can go out and play. What? What happened to the group laser tag? I asked them and they looked at me like I had 10 heads. I was pissed but did not try to make a scene. I wanted to pay and just leave but had to stand around until they're done turning over the party room. Once she took me to the front desk to pay, she ignores me and starts checking in other children into Empire. I had to wait like another 15 or so minutes all awkward yet there were 3-4 workers standing behind the counter not doing anything anyway. I felt snubbed. The crazy part is that I don't think she was malicious in any way, just incredibly aloof. I asked for the manager at this point because this whole experience was too much and they have to do better. The manager Patty told me they had our group down to play laser tag during the first hour but yet the party host never took us there. When asked why the host rambled about there not being enough kids interested and that our group of kids are too young (they're all school-aged). She never even gave us the option! After the party I realized our party host is the same one another reviewer posted a photo of and basically said she sucks. Poor time management! I tried SO hard to go with the flow. We booked a birthday party at Empire Adventure Park several months in advance of the date and paid the deposit. Nine days prior to the party, we got an email from Empire Adventure Park listing potential ad-ons for additional costs. I was confused because, based on the party package listed on their website, I thought some of these ads on were included in what we had paid for. Additionally, Empire's competitors include many of these ad ons in their packages. I spoke to an assistant manager about my frustration and concern, and I told her that I thought they were trying to upcharge me for something that was advertised as being included in the party package. I was firm but always polite and respectful. Empire would not budge. I asked to speak to a manager, and I was told that person was currently unavailable but would call me the next day. Later that evening I got an email from Empire cancelling my son's birthday party and saying they would refund the money, which they subsequently did. I was beside myself. They cancelled a little boy's party mere days before it was scheduled. I had to scramble to get a new venue, which was unavailable on the same date, which was his actual birthday. Additionally, because of the last minute date and time change, 13 of his friends were unable to attend the party. He was sad and disappointed. I was shocked and saddened that Empire would be so callous about cancelling a child's birthday party a few days before it was scheduled. Beware. There are plenty of party venues in the area that will not upcharge you, will include all of the necessary costs up front so you can plan your party and budget, and will treat families with kindness and respect. read more

My toddler was having a meltdown as we left thinking we were able to have fun day. They are so unorganized and it was so crowded. I found they tried to gauge us for things that every other similar establishment included with their pricing. The food was not good at all - Chuck E Cheese pizza is gourmet compared to this place. Overall the party was disorganized and poorly executed. We were supposed to have a private session of dodgeball but the staff didn't do their job and random kids just jumped into our party. I took my 3 children (ages 8,6,&5) to jump this evening .There was an unfortunate incident between my son and another patron and his child( aged 9). My 6 year old that's barely 50lbs was attacked unprovoked by the 9 year old that looks about 95lbs. After breaking up the altercation I got the manager to remove the child and parent because he was not apologetic, which the manager agreed and obliged. However, when we were leaving I mentioned that in the future having proper staff would prevent the situation that ensued;to which he callously replied that he can't have staff everywhere. Especially, "as the night dwindles down" which is the absolute wrong answer and with that attitude I would not return. Mitigating possible dangerous situations should be a high priority! read more

Giving two stars because although the place has potential, it is extremely poorly managed. When you get there, you stop to get your bracelet and socks... prepare for a 20-30 minute wait (even with a pre-paid reservation). On top of this, they could not find our waivers, which we had filled out in advance. Then, when we finally made it in, I decided to get water bottles for the kids (because no outside food or drinks are allowed) and I knew kids would need some hydration. Please prepare to wait another 20-30 minutes for the cashier (who is handling EVERYTHING at the cafe) finally gets to you. The day we went, they had ran out of water bottles and charged us $1 for TAP WATER. On another note, I did not see a single sanitizing station. I cannot speak for the food because I would never order it at a place like this, so that stays a mystery. Kids had lots of fun and it is definitely an excellent concept, I just hope they were better staffed and cared about offering a good customer service to the parents actually paying for the entertainment. read more
