We did go the day after there was a malfunction with one of the larger rides. That part of the park was closed. But it didn't stop us from enjoying the rest of it. Maybe this was why the lines for the rides weren't that bad. We were able to get right on most all of them and the girls were even able to do some rides multiple times. Lunchtime was in their little restaurant where we had pizza and I bought additional mozzarella sticks, which are actually very delicious. Funny enough, the highlight of the whole park was our souvenir cup, which you could go around refilling for the whole 2026 season. This included the Slurpees that are self-serve at two spots in the park. On a hot day, these Slurpees were really really good and giving us life. Most of the parents got them, but we use them again this season? Probably not, but it kinda added to the fun, and we all had a really great time.

I calmly explained to the girls working the window that if Adventureland advertises "free fathers for Father's Day", they probably ought not to exclude those of season ticket holders. The optic is that " we don't value the season ticket holders". This isn't the first time this year either. A recent outing for our daughter's grammar school would not admit season ticket holders to the event. I've been around long enough to remember when adults didn't automatically have to pay to enter the park. Seems that after Covid, Adventureland has taken a new philosophy to soak every dime they can from the public including at the expense of season ticket holders. Please change this.

However, I went for the Valentine's themed haunted attractions this past weekend and it was SO disappointing. The attractions were identical to their usual Halloween themes - almost no effort to make it Valentines themed. They had only 1 or 2 valentine decor you get from the dollar tree. I was honestly appalled to not have come across a zombie-Cupid or romantic-slaughter house. It could have been SO good. Definitely will only stick to Halloween going forward.

They've just left it as is - without live actors - from Halloween. The forgotten Maze is boiling, super long wandering walk with no "wrong turns" etc just scattered with creepy skeletons, half demolished from weather or patrons. The train barely (randomly) ran - almost everything was closed until you "wait for an attendant". The water ballon launch was decent, so were the bumper boats and the "bounce in the dome" (a small trampoline in a metal dome frame) but everything is well past its last life. The arcade had half the games off or broken and no AC. For a day that was 80+. It was brutal inside. The ice cream parlor was cute, and delicious and NOT mind blowingly expensive, which I appreciated. For the price, which isn't WILD, though it's $200+ for a family of five (no arcade, panning for gems, food/drink etc included in that mind) you'd expect much better quality attractions.

I suppose I was reading and clicking through the website too quickly because I missed the delivery fee was $6.99 and another fee for $1.00. It wasn't on the receipt that was e-mailed to me, instead I saw it on the receipt when I received my order. It took about an hour after I put in the order to arrive though I'm very close and it was off peak time. The Old English Panini was tasty and filling, but not worth all the additional fees. Another time, around Thanksgiving, I purchased an award winning old fashioned apple crumb pie for a family gathering. Since White Post Farms sells freshly baked homemade pies daily, I definitely wanted to try it. However, I thought the apple pie was okay and nothing really special unfortunately.

As some mentioned there were rides which were not open but hopefully this summer all will be operational as it's a nice day trip to have some fun. It's a very family friendly place and good for the kiddies. Food is available but it's basically carnival eats - pizza, hot dogs, burgers, ice cream, fries, chicken fingers - which is as expected. And the wood for the targets are all chewed up. The arcade games aren't included in the $45 The wave pool isn't included in the $45. The bumper car area is like 15' x 15'. The outdoor water equipment isn't included. There is a beat up swingset that has shoddy repairs I didn't try the laser tag or rock climbing so I don't have any comments on that. And the mini golf was pretty basic. They should charge less for entry or have more included with the $45 entry fee.

His response "wear the shoes or leave". There was 7 of us. He was so rude, unprofessional and he made us feel like we were not welcomed.
