3/9/25: We went on the Adventures in Paradise Dolphin & Wildlife Cruise in Fort Myers, Fl. These cruises are usually a crapshoot. We did see some dolphins and birds after a while. The narrator of the cruise was friendly and informative about the wildlife. The cruise was a nice way to spend a couple of hours. Parking is available along the dock area. 3.5 Stars. read more

My husband granddaughter and I enjoyed the Cayo Costa cruise. 65 minute boat ride to the island, slightly longer back as the crew made sure we saw dolphin ! Crew was informative and friendly. Plenty of time on the island to snorkel, swim and relax on the beach. AIP provided beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel equipment and plenty of water. We felt the experience was worth the price of admission. Highly recommend. read more

I can't say enough about this shelling, lunch and dolphin tour! Five stars isn't enough! The captain and his mate gave us lots of information, we went shelling at a great little island, then to lunch at Cabbage Cove! All in all such a fantastic experience! I went swimming at the little island and the dolphins were so close to me! Amazing! Lunch was good and driving back we saw a lot of dolphins! What a day! Truly the best day I had in years! We did the Saturday boat trip to North Captiva and lunch at Mainstay restaurant. The boat ride was great, we saw a lot of dolphins all around the boat before we landed to play on the beach. The boat had enough chairs and umbrellas for the whole group. The shelling wasn't wonderful where we landed but the beach was a great walk and several people came back on board with large bags of shells.maybe I was looking the wrong way hahaha. Overall, it was great and our driver Cptn Steve and first mate/naturalist Tom were wonderful.Highly recommend read more

We discovered this place because we wanted to see some new areas around Sanibel Island and really glad we did. First trip out we went to the south side of North Captiva Island. Crew set up umbrellas and chairs for us and these guys were just overall wonderful. Lunch at Mainstays, which we weren't planning on, but our original trip got combined with this one so we rolled with it. Would have preferred the original trip, where we were supposed to spend more time on the island, but Mainstays lunch was really good and neat to see the runway everyone talks about. Second trip was a sunset cruise and again the crew was outstanding. Wish I was better at name recall! Great sunset, lots of dolphins, some manatee. Crew took pictures each time we went out, which is such a wonderful bonus. It makes the customer feel like this is a special occasion, which these cruises definitely qualify as. Catamarans were nicer than some of the ones we've been out on recently but it was the patience, competency, friendliness, and attitudes of the crew that made this company different and definitely worth using. We chose this company because of the great reviews and they have earned the 5-star ratings all the way. My only regret is not getting to see the Sanibel Lighthouse from the water. Perhaps that is only the dolphin cruises during the day. Don't know if we'll make it back to Sanibel, but if we do, I will definitely be booking more cruises with Adventures in Paradise. read more

From start to finish we had a perfect experience. We booked an Easter Egg Hunt and Dolphin Cruise. They have three locations and we were able to book with one that wasn't too far from where we were staying. I received a very polite and apologetic call a few days before the cruise letting me know that our particular cruise was cancelled, but there was room for us at a different location. The location happened to be even closer to our hotel and bonus, started earlier (we are morning people). The person on the phone was very sweet and did everything she could to accommodate our preferences. The cruise itself was nice. The boat was clean and roomy. The boat crew was friendly and fun. We pulled up to our own little private island for the kids to hunt for eggs while the grownups had a mimosa. On the way back, we stopped to observe dolphins and wild flamingos. read more

This is my second trip on this cruise. The captain in first made Tom were personable and played great music along the way. Tom pointing out the various animals surrounding the area was great. Just chilling on the beach was perfect. I highly recommend this. read more

Very fun and relaxing sunset /dolphin adventure. Captain Steve and first mate Tom took their time and Tom really was informative about the large pod of dolphins (especially the baby) we saw. Explained the waterways and of course the fall sunset colors were amazing. Plenty of up close parking and short walk to boat. read more

Larry and Tom were great. I had a blast on the sunset dolphin cruise. We saw a handful of dolphins but the experience of the sunset cruise was just what we were after as a married couple. A few families chose to bring their young kids, don't know if I want to cruise with kids running around the boat again. I appreciated the drinks afforded to us. The knowledge discussed. I'd go back for a shell hunting excursion. Deducted one star because we waited well after take off for one single couple who decided to stall the boat. We could have had an extra ten minutes on the water if not for the crew waiting for these grown adults that had the same directions as everyone else that showed up on time. read more

We did the shelling and lunch tour out of Sanibel. It was a great trip for a group staying in Cape Coral for baseball. It was 3 teenage boys and 3 adults. We all had a wonderful time. I 12/10 recommend taking this lovely excursion. It's just perfect start to finish. read more

We scheduled a Dolphin Wildlife tour for my sister's birthday as she was visiting us with her husband from Colorado. The day was partly cloudy and the temperature was warm but not excessively. Mother Nature did not disappoint. Dolphins followed along the side of the boat, jumping and playing in the wake of passing boats. Stephanie, the first mate, was friendly, informative and entertaining. She had the boat sing Happy Birthday to my sister-definitely a treat for her. Captain Terry was skilled in moving around for the best views of the dolphins. Towards the end of the cruise, the children were invited to drive the boat. The smiles on their faces were priceless. read more

We did the day trip to Cayo Costa with Adventures in Paradise. The ride out to the Island was beautiful and smooth. The crew was knowledgeable about all the islands and passes we were going through. They pointed out different types of birds and landmarks along the way. They were experienced and thoughtful of everyone on board: constantly checking in on everybody's needs with chairs, umbrellas, water, photos etc. On the ride back from the Island, they stopped to search for Dolphins and found a huge playful pod. The dolphins came right up to the boat and performed tail slaps, jumps and spins for us. Really incredible experience. We look forward to booking another tour with them. read more

We took the Dolphin and Shelling excursion on December 22nd. Traffic to the Sanibel Marina was horrific. Not the fault of the tour company, but they should start complaining. I think the frustration of traffic will upset their patrons. We sat in traffic for 2.5 hrs. They adjusted the departure time so we were fine. Captain Evan and his First Mate were excellent. We learned about dolphins, birds and mangroves. We saw quite a few dolphins. We weren't into the Shelling but we were happy to visit a Captiva beach and soak up some sun. We were encouraged to brink lunch and were allowed to bring alcohol. There was a restroom on the boat. These guys were very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Had a great day. The cruise was extended to adjust for our late departure. I recommend this tour and business. read more

Great cruise!! Was able to see dolphins...a pod of about 15! Captain Ken & First Mate Andrew worked really hard to find the dolphins...finally tracking them down & giving us a great show! We booked an excursion for dolphin cruise in Fort Myers for 4 passengers at 10 AM ON March 25. Your company called at 2 PM March 24 to say we would be taking off from Sanibel instead because not enough passengers from Fort Myers. Not our problem. We booked the entire day around this in advance. We canceled and found another reputable company. I will not recommend you to anyone. read more
