They didn't label the buffet dishes so we couldn't tell the difference between the chicken and the fish! The scallop potatoes had some kind of fish (crab maybe) in them but since they weren't labeled- it was an unpleasant surprise. It was a fun night with friends, but doubt if we would do it again. We went as far as Salty Sam's and BowDitch Point and smaller inlets in between. Our captain shared stories about damage from Hurricane Ian and other local residents. We brought our own snacks and drinks. Tour company did provide one cooler and cup holders on the bar. You could sit at the bar or there were two bean bag filled chairs.

I could not be happier about my experience with My High Tide! First off booking the Yacht was incredibly easy. I was able to quickly book online which was easy to do. I did have a few questions and called them directly and they answered right away and were very helpful. They had a few great options to choose from but with the size of our group we decided to go with the Azimut 72. IT IS GORGEOUS! The observation deck up top gives you amazing views of the water. The stern has so much room to relax and is incredibly luxurious. My wife loved the front of the vessel where she could get some sun and just relax. This yacht seemed brand new and was awesome. What made the experience over the top was the staff on board. Captain Joe was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. No doubt in my mind that he knew exactly what he was doing the whole time. We also had Wayne on the boat who was the First Mate. He was great and always willing to answer all the questions we had. You could tell that both of these gentleman loved what they did and took care of all the guests. These two made the experience unforgettable! We went for a half day ride on the Sea Ray 280. The boat was clean and comfortably sat 10 of us. Captain Wayne was great, I was a little nervous it'd be too choppy but he assured me with his seasoned spirit. This will be a day to remember!!! I think we may try to make a tradition out of this.

We weren't sure if we'd see any dolphins but we saw multiple groups and even a baby and mama. They came super close to the boat and just hung out for a while-amazing! We can't wait to come back in the summer and book another trip - Def longer this time! The price was well worth it for the experience and the privacy - our small group of 5 had the boat to ourselves! We had good weather, and we were fortunate to have come upon several pods of dolphins along the way. I sat on the left-hand side of the boat near the front, and I did get unexpectedly soaked for the first 10 minutes or so, which subsided after that. One thing I'll mention for the benefit of other first-timers: I was under the false assumption that this boat would be going so fast that we would break the space-time continuum, based on the videos I've seen. However, when you're actually on the boat, it's not really going all that fast. You'll still want to remove or secure your hat, but you needn't worry about entering a wormhole or returning before you started.

The Thriller offers a little something for everyone. Interested in a bit of history about Sanibel? This has it. Looking for a reprieve from the heat on land? Feel the breeze in your hair as you zoom about in water. Love dolphins? You're likely to catch a pod or two swimming along with the boat. Excited most about the possibility of dolphins, my group and I opted to arrive to the dock approximately 1 hour ahead of time to ensure a seat towards the back of the boat. The very last row has the best views but also requires you get up and down out of your seats from time to time to balance out the boat to get up to speed. Though the back has the best views, you're also likely to get wet with spray and won't be able to hear the guide as easily. If you are more interested in the history and views of the island, sit towards the front and find out which way they'll circle the island. We were gifted with several pods of dolphins that stuck with the boat for great periods of time. I had plenty of time to capture some nice shots. We sped by the Hobie World Championships and caught views of some expensive homes on Captiva as we made our way around the island. The ride lasted approximately 2 hours. With its catamaran hull, the ride was smooth and enjoyable. Comfortable seating! Bring sunscreen, a hat you can secure tightly to your head, and some water.

We did this during off-season so we had the boat to ourselves, which was really awesome. Highly suggest to anyone and everyone that they take this tour. The half-day was plenty to us.
