I had to say that we couldn't hear him on the speaker or that we were still waiting or whatever multiple times while waiting in the rooms. We heard him outside the door getting another group ready for their escape room while we were waiting for our chimes. When we told him at the end, all he said was it was part of the escape room. Basically, they either need to get more staff or give more time to make up for the time missed waiting on them. I don't think the time we got (due to lack of staff and waiting) added up to the amount of money I spent.

We called them to see what rooms they had available and if we could come. They were very helpful and offered some rooms they had. We came and immediately were able to go to the "Gamemaster Room". It was challenging but still able to be solved. A cool thing, they do is offer a clue when you are stuck on one for a while. We did have to get a hint but it was worth it. Right when we came out, we asked to do another one. We immediately got to go into another one. This one was challenging, but we were determined to solve it without help so we could win a free T-shirt. It was a fun experience and I recommend to any group for a fun evening!

Like a number code lock or a directional lock that you see in typical escape rooms. Additionally the rooms were beautiful. That being said it was so different that we were unsure if we were allowed to interact the game in unique ways. Such as digging thorugh the sandy floor for a hidden key. Or dripping water on some of the props to open a door. I didn't even know that was allowed as escape rooms have a long list of rules on how you may interact with the game. So I feel somewhat cheated as I thought those actions would of been prohibited but were actually the main game. I would challenge you guys to find a way to show this is a part of the game while not explicitly giving it away. Overall, this is an amazing escape room and even if I have some gripes this place definitely spoiled every escape room I'll ever play.

The directions given to us included phrases such as "you're not special" and "this isn't about your ego." Don't get me wrong, I have worked in customer service and healthcare and other settings that require you to be stern and blunt with people at times. However, that should be reserved for situations where it is warranted. To treat every single person who walks through the door as if they have damaged property is unnecessary. I didn't come with a group of rowdy teenagers. It was two married couples and two young adults. A very gentle and respectful group. One person in our party was brought to tears by the way we were spoken to during the game. We were repeatedly yelled at, spoken down to, and treated as if we were a bother. We all felt like we were walking on egg shells. It's disappointing to have participated in a unique escape room, but have everyone leave feeling downcast and uncomfortable. I have left very few reviews in my life, but wanted to leave this feedback so that constructive changes could be made for the survival of the business, especially since the escape rooms themselves are a special thing. I recommend conversations with staff or even staff changes to create a more positive experience for your guests.

As soon as I stumbled upon the Key Quest Escape Room, I knew this was a great match. The bride has a degree in Criminology and one of their scenarios, The Cellar, is centered around a story about a serial killer. What a match! To make sure everything ran smoothly, I made a reservation in advance for the scenario we wanted. We arrived 20 minutes prior to our start time for instructions. After paying the entrance fee, we were instructed to put all of our belongings into a locked storage bin, securely monitored by staff. We were handed paper blindfolds to put on, and when we were ready, we were escorted into the room. Before removing the blindfolds, we listened to a couple minutes of build up, which set the stage and task while still giving us a few chuckles. When it came time to remove our blindfolds, the 45-minute clock started and we were off. The room is fairly difficult given the time constraints. We are a smart bunch of folks, most of which had never participated in an escape room before. When our time was up, the staffer responsible for maintaining the room allowed us a few more minutes to keep up the struggle, but alas, we were outwitted by the puzzles. The staffer walked us through the solution and suddenly it all seems so obvious. Within 2 hours of leaving, I received several photos via email of our group. The staff offered to take our picture holding signs and emailed them along quickly. Overall, we all enjoyed the experience. It is clear that the primary business is the laser tag set-up, but the attention to detail and interesting props in the escape room was impressive.

We found an escape room that was fairly close by. The staff was amazing, helpful and polite. We started a little early. We did the Serum42 room. It was a unique room. We had fun. It was challenging. We ended up finishing it with a few clues and 10 minutes to spare. You get an hour, and unlimited clues. There are several rooms to choose from. We went online and checked out all the information and booked our room online. Making reservations is always a plus in my book. The room was for 10 people, but I feel like 10 people is just too many hands in the cookie jar. I noticed in their Facebook page they had discount codes in the past. So I can only assume they could have some more in the future during certain times. I recommend checking them out.
