If there was a rating with negative stars this would be the one. After spending several months dismissing my husband's shoulder pain as post operative, Dr Pecarsky then starting guessing. Pain meds, fibromyalgia meds, then my husband had to practically beg for bloodwork since he was becoming jaundice. The next guess was a gall stone...for which he finally referred to to another doctor.
10 days later we left the hospital with a diagnosis of stage 4 cancer, the pain having resulted from an undiagnosed tumor. Since Dr Pecarsky didn't have privileges at the hospital, we kept in touch by text...until we told him it was cancer. We received no reply, no followup, and not even a condolence card when 6 months later my husband passed away.
A primary's job is to know when they are over their head and refer you elsewhere. That's not the case in this office. Buyer beware....by the time we figured it out my husband had no chance of recovery. read more
