Accompanied my wife for her appointment today. She has been telling me about the renovations Dr. Garg's office has undergone, but I had to see them in person to appreciate the significant improvement. It's by far the nicest looking doctor's office I've ever visited. As for Dr. Garg, my previous review remains true and today's visit only solidified my opinion. I don't feel awkward saying I love Dr. Garg. That may seem like an exaggeration, but if anything, it's an understatement. I am eternally grateful for the aid he has provided, and continues to provide, my wife and best friend. It took years to find a doctor with this level of intelligence, education, warmness, trustworthiness, and empathy, but Dr. Garg makes all the searching and effort worthwhile. I have experienced lower back pain for as long as I can remember. After visiting several doctors, chiropractors, massage therapists, and even a few acupuncturists, I was truly ready to give up and just accept the fact that pain would be a part of my everyday life. Not only was I unable to find a doctor to actually diagnose my condition, I was met with disapproving looks and a suspicious attitude whenever I asked about medication to relieve my pain or told a doctor the medication he or she prescribed was not working for me. Dr Garg definitely has the best interest of his patients and his practice at heart. He listens to your issues and really developes a treatment that best suits you individually. The office is clean and very modern. The waiting room has many different information packets but also a huge collection of books from home decor to world travel. My wife was a patient of Dr. Garg'. At first everything was great, he was very professional, nice and really seemed to care about her well being. But over time my wife started telling me that he was speaking to her in mean and unprofessional ways, and then started yelling at her and making her cry. So she started recording the appointments so I could hear what was going on, I couldn't believe what I heard. After a few more incidents I started attending the appointments, at first he was very professional. One appointment I excused myself to use the bathroom, but I had to wait outside the door because the bathroom was occupied. I then heard the doctor start to belittle and speak in a very harsh and unprofessional manner. When I went back into the room, I questioned him as to why he was speaking to my wife like he did, he denied it, I then told him what I heard and then had my wife start to play some of the recordings, he got very quiet and tried to make excuses for how he had been acting. We then told him we would no longer be coming back. Since then we have talked to other patients my wife is friendly with who had similar experiences. One thing I noticed is that he doesn't speak like this to any of the his male patients she met there. Another issue, there are two entrances to the examination room. One he uses as the main entrance and exit for patients. The other door which is always left open, is located across from the bathroom door. You can literally hear everything spoken during a patients visit in the bathroom and even though it's a further distance, with little to no noise, you can hear the appointments while in the waiting room. We always paid cash for her visits. After several appointments we would be given a bill summary stating that we owed a previous balance for 2 or 3 appointments, this happened a few times. After having to provide past receipts he finally would correct the balance. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. But unfortunately he's one of a few pain management doctors in the West Chester area and he will say he knows about and how to treat your conditions, but after a few visits you realize he knows nothing about it. If you do have to go to him keep your receipts and if you're a woman, try to take your husband, boyfriend or a male friend. Otherwise I would highly recommend going to someone else even if it's further away, it will be worth it in the end. read more

When I read the Yelp reviews of his care for patients with Trigeminial Neuralgia I was so impressed that I recommended to my ex-wife that she go to Dr Garg & receive treatment. She sent her medical records to him & went to his office but was never able to get an appointment with him. No explanation was given & his staff did not help. What is going on? read more

One of the best doctor's I've found since leaving PA. I travel from DE to see Dr. Garg. He listens, takes his time, pays attention and never pushes treatments on you. I had seen a pain management doctor in DE, in fact two of them. I have a pinched nerve in my neck and my arms and hands were in agony. I also have had horrible muscle spasms in my neck and shoulders since having a cervical fusion. The pain in my hands would wake me up at night. One doctor told me a cervical epidural was the way to go and that it was 100% safe. Nothing is 100% safe. I lost confidence in him right then and there. The second doctor insisted I needed to have a nerve burned in my neck because that's where my neck and shoulder pain was coming from. I tried to explain to him that trigger point injections with a steroid always worked in the past and it's actually muscular, not nerve. But he insisted I was wrong. He really didn't even fully explain the procedure to me. He just gave me a sheet of paper with a brief description and told me to "google it". I let him do the four injections with a numbing medication prior to the nerve burning to see if it would actually work. Not only was it horribly, horribly painful, but it did not work (big surprise). I went to Dr. Garg and we throughly discussed everything. He believed it was muscular as well and we did the trigger point injections. Which I have to say were the least painful I've ever had. I now sit here with no neck or shoulder pain. We also did the cervical epidural which was virtually painless as well. The burning in my arms went away in less than a week. Now three weeks later the horrible pain I had every day in my hands is virtually all gone as well. I can't recommend Dr. Garg enough. He is an excellent doctor and you really do feel that he cares that you are in pain. The reviews didn't lie. read more

I have been going to Dr. Garg since he opened, he is a great guy and Dr. He cares and listens to you and tries to find a solution, and not just treat you like a number. Without him i would be in so much pain that i wouldnt be able to work or enjoy life. I work 7 days a week 14 hr days and i just cant stay home bc i cant move, he has helped me and i can move and enjoy life and work. I would reccomend him in a heart beat. read more

I have been to numerous doctors from all manner of discipline over the past fifteen years looking fruitlessly for relief from frequent migraines. This has provided me with exposure to a large number of doctors, staff, offices, and billing departments. None of which have impressed me as much as Doctor Garg's enterprise! I was treated with dignity and respect from making my appointment, through initial intake, during my kind and courteous exchange with the doctor, to a very professional completion with billing and follow-up. The staff is genuinely friendly, the office is comfortable and tastefully decorated, they accept a wide variety of insurance, and to top it all off, Doctor Garg fixed my migraine issue! He listened to all of my concerns and discussed treatment options with me openly - not the typical; take this and let me know how you feel in a month. Granted, it was a fair amount of luck that he was able to provide such a rapid solution but, it was his consideration of past trials and 'out of the box' thinking that did the trick. read more

I doctor who flat out told me that my co-pay was not enough for him to bother to care about my pain. Long waits in office then longer in exam room.
