I fulfilled all of their requests regarding a satisfactory background check, provided several viable references, and supplied all of my personal and security information for their review. I gave my resignation at my current company as soon as I received the offer letter (2 and a half weeks prior my start date with RWM) in order to provide my current company enough notice to fill my position in time. Thankfully, they did. Unfortunately, the Friday before my Monday start day with RWM (which would equate to less than one business day), RWM informed me that, due to staffing changes, they were rescinding my offer of employment. Whether or not this is because of my minority status I am not sure, but the fact remains that I am now unemployed because of Robert W. Morris & Company P.C.'s poor communication, ineffective business strategies, and lack of timely decision making. I would not recommend this firm to the average tax-payer for the reasons listed above; given their lackadaisical professional standards and attitude towards potential future employees, I do not believe they have the capacity to service their clients in a respectful manner, either.
