As a plus size woman, finding this place was such a blessing. Sooooo many retailers sell clothes that just don't make sense for plus size women. Places like Torrid and Lane Bryant charge a fortune for the same quality clothes. My teenager loves this store too. Between the two of us, we have tons of clothes that have lasted a long time. Most of their leggings are par with lularoe and over half the price. They have a huge selection of medium/big cheer bows for like $2-3. I could live without the jewelry section. Although I approached a staff member at the cosmetics desk for assistance, I felt ignored when I tried to clarify that my exchange was not a refund and that I had paid for the item. Despite my attempts to explain, the staff member dismissed my concerns and seemed more focused on speaking with her supervisor. The situation escalated, and another employee appeared visibly upset, which added to my frustration. Fortunately, a supervisor eventually resolved the issue and processed my exchange, but the overall experience left me feeling disrespected. I just opening up the belk credit card last July, however, I will close the account now. I don't want to come back to any Belk anymore. I hope Belk invests in better training for their staff to ensure customers receive the service they deserve.
