Here's why I'd recommend him and how he's different from others: I own a rental home in St. Paul and the city does annual safety inspections and found a window that they claimed needed to be replaced. I tried to source a window company for almost three months with no success as most would only come out for replacing at least 2 to 4 windows or more, not to just replace or fix one. I finally found Mark and he was able to make an appt within a week of us talking and he was able to fix the window on the spot without replacing it. He brings all of his tools with him so that if something like this does happen, he can just fix it on the spot if he's able. I'm looking forward to having all of my windows there replaced in the next 3-5 years and I'll be calling him for this work!

Until you are looking for a destination, you may not realize how close or where it is. Working in St Paul we have easily driven past Seestedt's a few hundred times going to work or Saints games. Anyhow we are considering remodeling our bathroom and based on my Yelpsearch, Seestedt's had some very solid reviews. Being that they are local and family owned are other key factors that we support. I had already done some research on their website to see what they had in stock. When we arrived we were greeted by Garrett and Clare. Garrett showed us to the area where they had their vinyl plank flooring. Seestedt's has carpet, vinyl plank and wood flooring and more. Garrett was very helpful answering our questions and explaining the benefits and different types of flooring we were looking for. We also learned that Seestedt's is in a historical building as we were shown the cut room where they used to cut the carpet decades ago. We were able to get a better idea of the colors we would like as this trip was more of information and check out the styles before we make our purchase. Seested's is also in the process of moving to a new location off of 94 and I believe White Bear Ave. They should be in their new location sometime between the end of this year or early 2019. Thanks to Garrett for his friendly and helpful information, we will be visiting again soon to either narrow our selections down or to purchase our flooring.

The reviews on yelp and google further confirmed this was the right choice. The office staff explained everything thoroughly and followed up via email and phone call when necessary. The service person showed up within the timeframe and went into further detail about the different screens/materials - it made me feel even better about my selection. For some reason, I had it in my head that this would be a fast repair but replacing 6 screens took almost an hour and a half. Jim came out and measured our windows to ensure a proper fit before we placed the order. Then he came back and installed them as well! Excellent work, and wonderful customer service.
