But to my surprise Bachman's was much more than that. Maybe that has always been the case, but I only realized it today having to spend some extra time there today. First of all of course they have wonderful plants and flowers. 3 distinct areas for that. One for indoor plants/bouquets, one large outdoor area for perennials I believe and one partial covered area for annuals. But looking closely I saw so many unique buys that I didn't expect to see. They had outdoor /patio garden furniture, and many furniture decor items. They have a very good selection of pillows/throws in the garden/tropical theme. Better than At Home where I went shopping for garden pillows last week. Along with bouquets, there is a chocolate section, jewelry section, and women's clothing section. If someone was wanting to pickup something for their significant other, this place has everything and more you could add you to that gift. (And also a whole variety of greeting cards. Even Mickey Mouse themed ones!) For those shopping for themselves, the women's clothing area even had a fitting room. Who would have known ?! Nice touch The gift here had many more things, kitchen gadgets, games, baby items, etc It will definitely be a place for me to shop for any gift giving times. The staff pay attention and quickly try to solve issues over pricing or repair repairs. A real rockstar organization. And... That takes nothing away from either the restore stores of Habitat for Humanity or Goodwill. I love them all. It's so much better than buying retail or sending stuff to the dump! It's interesting how much that whole industry has grown and thrived. In many ways its size is a liability as it is difficult to find what you are looking for and often the staff are not knowledgeable. Wagner's on the other hand is smaller. They don't have as much stock but in general their staff are reasonably well Informed. Sunnyside Gardens is a nice compromise in size. The quality of their merchandise is excellent and their staff are accessible and seem knowledgeable. They are easy to reach and there is lots of nearby parking. I highly recommend.
