I had a terrible experience with one of them, he basically made reconstruction sound like no big deal, no need for physical therapy and showed me tear drop shaped implants. I decided to get a second opinion on this "too good to be true" reconstruction. I landed in Dr Kalnoki's office, SHE IS THE BEST! Not only did she spend 2 hours with me at my consult, she explained why you need therapy and what shape implants (not the tear drops because they'll flip and you'll have awkward boobs), all about risks and benefits and how to choose whats best for you, as an INDIVIDUAL. She's done a fellowship and has immense knowledge. I woke up from my mastectomy with reconstruction happy as a clam! My breasts look almost identical to before they were removed and redone! Dr K monitored me closely and her office staff, Tammy answers all my questions....Holly helps you schedule and Kris knows about insurance. They are wonderful. Being a gym/swim gorilla they kept me on a tight leash and didn't sugar coat anything. More offices need to be like that! I am going in for some fat-grafting procedures to make sure my breasts are even closer to normal. Dr K takes your own fat and injects it where you have divots and dimples. She has a very keen eye. Dr. Lee and Carly Matthews, his PA, explained every detail of what could happen in surgery, good and bad, in a way where I didn't feel I needed to pull out a medical dictionary. He reiterated at the pre-op appointment and on the day of surgery exactly what he would be removing and re-implanting during the procedure from start to finish and I knew I was in good hands which is always a plus before you entrust a surgeon to make that first cut. I received first rate care from everyone I interacted with starting on the day of the initial consultation at his office as well as with the coordinator who scheduled the surgery, the nurses and Anesthetists on the day of the procedure at the River's Edge 1-Day Surgery Center and then back at the office for post-op care. My husband is in the medical field and looks for faults with providers and their staff but couldn't find any flaws with Dr. Lee and his team. It's been 3 weeks since surgery and I couldn't be happier with the end results as compared to what I had prior to surgery. When I woke up from surgery I realized he didn't even attempt to do the lift. I was shocked and so upset so he offered to take me into his very old office and do a lift in the office chair under local anesthesia a few months later . (The dirty old 1900's office). He removed as much as he could still leaving me with so much skin you could clearly see. After a week he removed those stitches clearly too early and I ended up having a huge open wound with smelly stuff coming out clearly an infection. After months of healing my results are terrible. I have awful scars from that open wound.. so much loose skin.. and all he is offering to do is have ME pay again for him to bring me to the operating room so he can do a full lift since he couldn't in office chair. He said he will give me his services free (clearly cause he knows he didn't do his job) but I have to pay for the room and anesthesia again. WHY WOULD I PAY AGAIN FOR A SURGERY AND A JOB HE DIDN'T PERFORM. He was so rude and disrespectful when I mentioned either getting my lift portion of payment back or having him re do it FOR FREE. . By the way he charged my insurance 35,000 dollars for explant and I paid over 8,000 out of pocket for the lift . You are talking 43,000 for a job he did not preform. Sadly, this term isn't officially recognized by so many doctors, but thankfully Dr. Chatson does and is very compassionate about how it can negatively impact some people's health. At my first post-op appt he showed me pictures of my explanted implants and capsules, per my request. I was thrilled to see he was able to get 100% of my capsules out, (which can cause further health complications if they're not fully removed). Additionally, I also got a lift. I snuck a peak under my compression wrap yesterday, and I have to admit I'm thrilled with the results! They came out even better than I was expecting! He's worth the wait!

When I got to the office, I was in the waiting room waiting for my appt and several of the girls were whispering about a client that was there in an exam room. I could clearly here what they were saying and I thought it was very unprofessional and not kind, honestly. Once I was able to talk to someone, I was told that they no longer do the procedure that I was interested in and that they haven't done it in a very long time. Not cool. Anywho, I listened to their pitch about all the other products they sell and procedures they do and then it's time to meet the doctor. The doctor told me that my face could be offensive to people because I have a natural frown. She even went so far as to tell me that I could probably have better relationships with people if I let her fix my frown. Needless to say, I will not be going back nor will I be recommending this office to anyone. That office really needs to work on their delivery.

Everything was clearly explained to me and I was more than pleased when she allowed me to see (using the space age equipment she has) the problem and exactly how she was going to repair it.
