They actually have a Nurse Practitioner in charge. So the name, MedSpa = medical spa. They are probably the only local spa who offers IV infusions which you normally have to go to Houston for. The Myers infusion is awesome for fibromyalgia, and a shot of glutathione can be added. Some fibromyalgia patients come weekly and have gotten off prescription medications. They also offer cosmetic injectables, body contouring, spider vein treatment, tattoo removal, lash extensions, etc., and they are the only spa to offer the hydrafacial MD treatment. They actually sit and talk to you in depth to determine what is best for you in every aspect. The staff are professional and extremely friendly and attentive. Text reminders were provided of upcoming appointment. Once at the appointment I was greeted by office staff and owner . The spa is very welcoming with home like decor. There was no wait time and I was seen immediately. The procedure ( waxing) was explained and privacy given. The owner performed my waxing and I must say she was very gentle and through with ensuring all hair was removed. She did an excellent job and was so impressed I purchased a gift card for my bestie . My friend was recovering from major back surgery after a serious car accident and has difficulty walking long distances without a walker. I dropped her off at the methadone clinic next door and briefly parked in a handicap spot in the shared parking lot. There were several open parking spots directly in front of her business, and we were only there for a very short time. Instead of showing even the smallest amount of empathy or basic human decency, the owner stormed over aggressively and asked if I had "the sticker for special ed people." When I looked at her in complete disbelief after hearing what she had just said, she tried to "correct" herself by saying, "for crippled people." In 2026, that kind of language and behavior is absolutely disgusting. When I tried explaining the situation, she coldly responded, "That's not my problem," before immediately calling the police while my friend was still struggling to make her way back and I was getting the walker out of my car for her to use. What makes this even worse is that this apparently isn't unusual behavior for her. She repeatedly calls the police over petty situations and seems to target people from the methadone clinic next door with obvious prejudice and contempt. There's a difference between enforcing rules and deliberately humiliating vulnerable people. Her behavior was cruel, entitled, ignorant, and completely lacking in empathy. No amount of yoga, spirituality, or carefully crafted image can hide the ugliness in the way she treats other human beings.
