Mind you, I left my previous waxer due to laziness - although I had been several times before as she had always been great with me, but that's honestly irrelevant to this experience. This statement will make sense once the screenshots are read. The aesthetician, Emily, was sweet but apparently inexperienced. She never mentioned to me my posture, my opinion of the service after it was complete, or if there was any issue with the service. I tipped more than I would normally for her kindness and fully expected to go back. Upon arrival home, I inspected my yoni and about 27% of the hair was still there. It literally looks like I shaved in a hurry with a dull razor. Upset, I reached out to "Skin Stuntz" asking for a partial refund as the service was not provided as requested. She agreed, said it would be Monday before received, and asked for my PayPal or Venmo for payment. Kerri, her boss, messages me saying she can redo the service, but it was against policy to refund me. I question several issues such as why her employee would offer if that's the case and was met with clear hostility. Please help yourself to the screenshots below of the interaction. I feel sorry for the girls working as her employees and the fact that she thinks it's okay to not refund me my money when I told her to keep the cost of the material and labor. The girl was tipped $12 alone, why wouldn't you at least give the tip back? She gives serious mean girl energy and does not give care to customers who don't have an issue speaking up for themself. Why would I want more service from a salon who can't get it right, or communicate with me about the service (since apparently I'm the one in the wrong)?

She did not tell me how much she was going to do befpre beginning, and ended up doing way more than we discussed. I had a large knot in between my eyes for over a month at one of the injection sites. I was not happy with the fact that they gave me more than I wanted, which made my treatment double the price I intended to pay. I had a large goose egg in between my eyes for almost 2 months so I went to other places for followup treatments. The other places around town were wonderful, they did as much as they said they were going to, and I never had any lumps or problems. I decided to try health & Wellness again today because they had a May special for $10 a unit, and a quick appointment opening. Today I talked with the practitioner and discussed what I wanted, and past problems with the lump. I told her I usually get 11 units because I've never done more than 11 without an issue. I also prefer a more natural look, and know I can always come back for additional injections once I see how the 11 turn out & settle. She began the injections and then told me that she did eight units alone in between my eyebrows, which is where they gave me the lump before. (Other places I have been to and told about the lump I got there stayed away from that area in general, and only spread out 11-12 along the forehead. ) when I went to pay after the appointment I was told that they used 20 units. That is almost double what I told her I would like to get when we discussed what I would like. Out of two visits here I have had two very questionable experiences with this place and left feeling extremely frustrated both times. It is safe to say that I will never return to Health & Wellness. There are many other places in town that I've had great experiences with, and great results. I thought after so many years I would give them another chance, but after today I will never return.

For longer services, like facials (microdermabrasion, peels), you need to call ahead to make an appointment. The quality of the eyebrow threading is high. I usually ask for them to remain thick, for the stray hairs to be taken out, as well as to have the shape enhanced. When I first started coming here, I had a goal of growing my eyebrows in towards the center about one centimeter each. Throughout my life I'd 'over-plucked' my eyebrows, and this is not on-point with current trends. The beautician recommended certain oils to promote hair growth, and shaped my eyebrows to look nice during my transition phase. My eyebrows are now how I want them to look, and I come here for maintenance when I'm in town. After each visit, the end result is just what I want, and the beauticians are knowledgeable and kind. If you've never tried eyebrow threading before, this is the perfect salon to try it. My mom also comes here for threading, and has her eyebrows color tinted to a darker shade. She loves it, and the results are exactly what she wants.

I dropped her off at the methadone clinic next door and briefly parked in a handicap spot in the shared parking lot. There were several open parking spots directly in front of her business, and we were only there for a very short time. Instead of showing even the smallest amount of empathy or basic human decency, the owner stormed over aggressively and asked if I had "the sticker for special ed people." When I looked at her in complete disbelief after hearing what she had just said, she tried to "correct" herself by saying, "for crippled people." In 2026, that kind of language and behavior is absolutely disgusting. When I tried explaining the situation, she coldly responded, "That's not my problem," before immediately calling the police while my friend was still struggling to make her way back and I was getting the walker out of my car for her to use. What makes this even worse is that this apparently isn't unusual behavior for her. She repeatedly calls the police over petty situations and seems to target people from the methadone clinic next door with obvious prejudice and contempt. There's a difference between enforcing rules and deliberately humiliating vulnerable people. Her behavior was cruel, entitled, ignorant, and completely lacking in empathy. No amount of yoga, spirituality, or carefully crafted image can hide the ugliness in the way she treats other human beings.

Hard to know what to book for when I don't know what you offer! ;) 3) So we finally booked services a WEEK prior to the appt and got a phone call the night before ( around 8pm, which I thought was a little odd being so late) to confirm our 2 pm appt the next day, which is fine, all good. We had planned a day around the services as a girls day out. I am a mother of a toddler and NEVER get to go out and be spoiled. My husband is a stage four melanoma fighter and needless to say I am frazzled and was in great need of some pampering. 4) the day of our services I get a phone call at NOON saying that we need to come in at 1pm as they had a "scheduling issue". So we had an hour to hustle and get there meaning we had to forgo all our other plans ( lunch, etc). 5) NO APOLOGY was given- (and that's the big one for me...) 6) BUT attitude WAS given to me in strides the minute they sensed my unhappiness about the situation, like it was somehow my fault that THEY screwed up. 7) it screwed up our WHOLE day and my one and only chance to get some pampering as we wEre going to go to lunch first then go to the spa. Now we had to eat and run just to get there in time. Once we got there, I had calmed down enough to try to enjoy the massage, but found out because I was sneezing they wouldn't give me a massage that day. I understand that part ( as they were worried I was contagious and I am a germ freak myself) but how they handled the situation AFTER that was also poor in my opinion. 8) They were highly unsympathetic and told me to come back another day and/or to give my gift card to someone else. I live 3000 miles away from anyone I know, I am basically by myself and don't get these opportunities like normal people do. I paid for and received a fully syringe of lip filler and was told/ promised that my lips would seem too large immediately after, but within a few days my lips would eventually look more normal. I was not given instructions or information on what type of filler was used nor how to care for my lips after. Even immediately after, my lips were not gorged nor "too" plump. I had bruising and by the 3rd day whatever plump I had went away. I text the salon and asked to make an appointment for a touch up, which was offered by Lisa the injector. I was told if I wanted a more "plump" look I would have to buy another syringe of lip filler at regular cost, no discount. I sent in pics of before and after and they doubled down and said they couldn't do anything for me until I went in. Several times Natalie the manger told me that they offer the "natural" look and that is what they see in my pictures. Well, I feel like my lips today, which is almost 2 weeks, do not look like I had any filler at all. The salon did not do anything to try to get me to come in so they could rectify the problem. They said to come back and then they would decide what the next step would be ----- I could just hear them tell me one more time "you do have the natural look".
