When I talked to the woman who administered it I told her I did not want to do too much for my first time, and wanted to start with a very low number because I could always add more. She did not tell me how much she was going to do befpre beginning, and ended up doing way more than we discussed. I had a large knot in between my eyes for over a month at one of the injection sites. I was not happy with the fact that they gave me more than I wanted, which made my treatment double the price I intended to pay. I had a large goose egg in between my eyes for almost 2 months so I went to other places for followup treatments. The other places around town were wonderful, they did as much as they said they were going to, and I never had any lumps or problems. I decided to try health & Wellness again today because they had a May special for $10 a unit, and a quick appointment opening. Today I talked with the practitioner and discussed what I wanted, and past problems with the lump. I told her I usually get 11 units because I've never done more than 11 without an issue. I also prefer a more natural look, and know I can always come back for additional injections once I see how the 11 turn out & settle. She began the injections and then told me that she did eight units alone in between my eyebrows, which is where they gave me the lump before. (Other places I have been to and told about the lump I got there stayed away from that area in general, and only spread out 11-12 along the forehead. ) when I went to pay after the appointment I was told that they used 20 units. That is almost double what I told her I would like to get when we discussed what I would like. Out of two visits here I have had two very questionable experiences with this place and left feeling extremely frustrated both times. It is safe to say that I will never return to Health & Wellness. There are many other places in town that I've had great experiences with, and great results. I thought after so many years I would give them another chance, but after today I will never return.

The owner is one of the most rude, bitter, and hateful people I've ever encountered. My friend was recovering from major back surgery after a serious car accident and has difficulty walking long distances without a walker. I dropped her off at the methadone clinic next door and briefly parked in a handicap spot in the shared parking lot. There were several open parking spots directly in front of her business, and we were only there for a very short time. Instead of showing even the smallest amount of empathy or basic human decency, the owner stormed over aggressively and asked if I had "the sticker for special ed people." When I looked at her in complete disbelief after hearing what she had just said, she tried to "correct" herself by saying, "for crippled people." In 2026, that kind of language and behavior is absolutely disgusting. When I tried explaining the situation, she coldly responded, "That's not my problem," before immediately calling the police while my friend was still struggling to make her way back and I was getting the walker out of my car for her to use. What makes this even worse is that this apparently isn't unusual behavior for her. She repeatedly calls the police over petty situations and seems to target people from the methadone clinic next door with obvious prejudice and contempt. There's a difference between enforcing rules and deliberately humiliating vulnerable people. Her behavior was cruel, entitled, ignorant, and completely lacking in empathy. No amount of yoga, spirituality, or carefully crafted image can hide the ugliness in the way she treats other human beings.

Also, make sure you keep track of any packages you purchase and your receipts to show them because they are not good at keeping track of it and will have you pay again if you don't bring your receipts as proof (yes, even if it is the employee who you purchased them from). The issue was with the front desk and the lady in charge of billing. They have no clue of what they are doing or they act like it . On the front desk. They charged me a copay that i should not have paid, I asked the lady in charge of billing to please call my insurance to verify as the day before when I went for my appointment they asked me for a copay. I went back to the office with insurance paperwork to show them my coverage she refused to look at it and to call the insurance company. They claim they take a deposit , what the he'll for that has never happens to me before. They kept insisting I have a big deductible when I don't. I just got irritated and cancel all my appointments. They did not seem to care. What has happened to customer service these days. Cant deal with unprofessional people. Will find another doctor.

Dr. Julie Broussard also does general practice so when I was having so much trouble getting other offices to work with my insurance - they took care of everything for me.
