As a nurse practitioner Klaudia is attentive, extremely knowledgeable about the body and health, and passionate about solving issues at the source (instead of medicating them to mask symptoms - she wants to solve the problem). The facility is inviting, clean and relaxing. Treatment rooms are comfortable and have TV to pass the time during a drip. The schedule is flexible and offers day and evening options. I like the option for Botox, micro needling and fillers. I love that she offers an NAD+ drip program for improved cognition and is building her services portfolio to match her interests and those who seek wellness partners (like us!). Also the tiny attention to detail like offering a blanket while your drip does its thing, or a sparkling water, it's a nice touch! We've made a bi weekly visit part of our routine and hope to maintain. There's street parking and "lot" parking behind the building. Very easy. About a year ago, I received Botox injections from Virginia. For context, I've had Botox several…read moretimes in the past at other locations without any issues. During this visit, she treated my forehead and the area between my eyes, and strongly insisted that I also treat my crow's feet--even after I explained that I typically don't do that area. Despite my hesitation, she continued to push for additional units, which already made me feel uneasy. Unfortunately, the results turned out poorly. The Botox looked uneven, and I experienced significant side effects. My eyes became extremely dry, heavy, and uncomfortable--to the point where I had to keep a warm, damp cloth over them for several hours a day, for nearly three months, just to get relief. I eventually saw an actual physician who specializes in Botox injections to figure out what went wrong. I was told that I had been injected with far too many units, placed too deeply, and too close to my eyes. I truly wish Virginia had listened to me instead of pressuring me into more units. I've spent a lot of money at this clinic in the past for various treatments, and honestly, the way I was treated after this happened was very disappointing. When I spoke with Virginia on the phone about the side effects, she repeatedly questioned whether something else was going on with me--as if I was exaggerating or making up what I was experiencing, despite suffering for nearly three months. I was very disappointed and do not recommend this clinic! I would pay the additional few bucks per unit and go to an experienced injector and someone who actually listens to you.

She mysteriously answered her phone after it expired. I had called. I had left voicemails. Whatevs. The office building itself looks nice from the outside. The address that I met her was 380 E Northwest Hwy, Suite 320N, Des Plaines, IL, Illinois 60016. There is a handwritten sign to only use the elevator. There is brown wrapping paper all over the walkways; I am assuming because everything leaks. To be fair, today is Tuesday and there was hurricane on Saturday. There was even flooding in Des Plaines. You get in the elevator and there are big bags of garbage on one side. Whatevs. When you arrive on 3rd floor, there is lots more brown paper laid out. On your left is an open door -- a men's bathroom that I accidently walked into. On the right is more offices. You walk around winding the building, past massage therapists, etc. There was even a 7-year-old running around, screaming in the hall; her mother was doing some wet chemistry benchwork in an office. Jina will offer to show you the restroom, which is literally on the other end of the building. Her spa room is comfortable enough. I think the equipment is old because it is rickety. There was one point where she used a pre-moistened pre-cut paper facial mask, like those sold for at-home treatments. When I got dressed again and stepped into the other room, she was sitting behind her desk doing something to her purse. I was the only other person there and, after a few awkward minutes, I said loudly, 'So, next month at XYZ?' This is where I got confused. She asked, 'So, you don't have the money?' 'What?' To be fair, I probably looked really rude. My surprise face is really bug-eyed and I kept asking, 'What?!' She repeated herself, 'You don't have the money. That's why you aren't paying, right?' 'What?' 'Do you want me to cancel the next appointment?' 'What?' I think I was supposed to prepay for the next appointment, but she didn't really explain it. She also looked really hurt. I was surprised and she was taken back. It was confusing. All together, the restroom, the conversations before and after, and the facial took exactly one hour. Never again.

The space is cozy and relaxing and the facial made my skin feel unbelievably great! Jina even used an ultrasonic tool to help with the dark circles under my eyes (this was not part of the groupon but she did it without additional charges). I did a virtual appointment with Dr. Nisha, who is literally the coolest doctor I have ever met...you'll want to be friends with her! Dr. Nisha knew exactly what I wanted, and so I trusted her with Volbella for above my lip and my actual lip. The results are so natural that not even my husband knows I had anything done. I have had tons of compliments, but no one actually knows! Finally, on my last visit, I bought the August promotion. They are great for monthly promotions! I had 2 facials for $200. So, I just got microdermabrasion for the first time and love it. Again, this was with the awesome Taylor and my skin is so clean! I have literally found my spot. I am very conservative and love that they don't push me. They all seem to get that I just want to be a better version of myself, not someone different!

The secretaries and technicians here were all very nice, especially my laser hair removal tech, Taylor. She was great, so informative, and made me feel super comfortable. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of my results and the price I paid. I had laser hair removal done here for 2 small-ish regions on my body. First of all, the first lady I had for my first 2 or 3 sessions, I think the machine was on low because it was not painful at all. Fast forward to my 4th session with Taylor, and it hurt like a b!***! (which is normal and expected). It was just a huge jump. Then I found out the lady who I had for my first 2 or 3 sessions was no longer with the company. This might have had something to do with my results (maybe she wasn't doing it right? It didn't hurt at all). My results are not that great. I still grow a lot of hair in the regions I got lasered even after 6 sessions. I know it's never a guarantee, but they promised around 70-80% removal and I wanna say it's at like 40-50%. I currently go to a new place that I left 2 reviews for already, and I already see a difference after 2 sessions, more than what I saw when I was at AH Laser. It's not really worth it here for the price when it comes to laser hair removal. I don't know what lasers they use, but that might have something to do with it, as well. I recommend trying another place out first.
