First off, every truck I looked at around the state of Wisconsin was overpriced. After finding the truck at his dealer I was surprised to find private party prices?! Confused I truly thought it was some sort of scam or lemon selling dealer. I've always bought private party and never believed in car salesmen. I hate dealers, but I let my curiousity guide me. After talking on the phone, showed hip unannounced with my dog and a back-pack. I flew down from wisconsin to the fort meyers location. I took a taxi over to the dealer and Brandon was surprised I actually showed up, being most people talk big but never actually show. He's also dog friendly. My dog cassanova is a service dog but he didn't even care, he welcomed him into his office and even got him water! I looked over the truck and I said I'd take it! He even dropped $3,500 off the asking price giving me a veterans discount! So we shook on it! He forced me to take a test drive even though else he would've felt bad. Lol I appeased his request and did. Ironically a couple showed up after we got back and they were going to buy the truck but Brandon was a man of his word. We shook on it man to man, so he kindly apologized to the couple and explained the situation and that he shook on it; they understood. Also he's veteran friendly, a good guy. He was more then willing to work with USAA for financing. It was his first time with a veterans only bank. He was patient and was totally cool about it. I grabbed a stay at the hotel and waited for my bank to overnight the check to him so I could get my truck when it arrived. When it did, he did a complementary detail on the full truck. He also gave me the stock lift parts which most dealers won't do. Including the leveling keys, shocks, A-arms, etc so if I were ever to sell or trade in the truck I could put it back to stock! Brandon was adament that the truck be perfect before I left the lot so his female assistant, brought me out to lunch and ensisted she pay for it. Very hospitable and gratious! I've very happy to say that for being my first time buying from a dealer, it was a positive experience. I couldn't be happier with the truck! I've had to do nothing but regular maintenance on the vehicle which is obviously expected since I bought it used. The truck was in pristine condition with 1 thing being so minor I'm not even going to mention it. If you want a new car buy a new car, otherwise I don't quibble about stupid little things.
