Also I used to scan my films there , it's not the greatest scans ever, but was working for my need, till I got my own scanner. As someone who was just getting into film, I wasn't ready to spend upwards of $700 on a camera. We found this shop on Google and decided to stop in. It's a small spot, filled with cameras and equipment. There was one other girl there grabbing more film. We didn't catch the guys name but I'm assuming he was the owner. He was very sweet and helpful from the minute we came in. I didn't know what I was looking for so he asked some questions, what did I want to take pictures of, stuff like that, and then pulled out three cameras. He walked me one by one through what the differences are of each. I ended up going with a Minolta SRT-201. He showed me how to shoot for different lighting, and how to put the film in. It was very reasonably priced. I got the camera and two lenses for $275. He told us we can come back to get the film developed and we can pick up physical prints or he can email it to us. He clearly loved what he did and wanted to share that passion.

It is only upon purchase completion, after you have paid, that you find out via there confirmation email (jpeg included) that special order means, "out-of-stock" It's completely misleading and a cash grab! further, per jpeg (2) Excellent Photo is falsely advertising (right now) on there website that the Tilta Wireless Motor for Tilta Mirage is "IN STOCK"! So why don't I have it, a month later?! A month after purchase, I sent a cancelation email, no reply. I called Excellent Photo a couple of days later and got a very rude women on the phone that was not at all sympathetic, explaining that: the purchasing public should know that special order means "out-of-stock" and your pre-ordering, (not that, its explained anywhere on the product or payment page as illustrated in jpeg 2 inthat, "special order" means pre-order) and that your order could take as long as six months after which they turn your payment into a store credit, What a ripoff! I really appreciate this because getting my passport photo taken is always something that I dread . It always looks weird and then I'm stuck with it for 5-10 years. They don't rush it like other cheaper places who just take the picture quickly and print it out. It did cost 13.20$, much more than at other places. But the value is definitely there.

As their website states, "you are so welcomed to our store." I walked into their clean, naturally lit space and was immediately greeted by Annie and her husband (As in, they stopped what they were doing, walk towards the counter, had genuine smiles on their faces, and said "hi."). If their old-school customer service wasn't enough to keep me there, their mounted certifications would've been ample. As a photographer, Annie was quick on the draw. She made sure to snap enough picks to have something decent to choose from; and they cleaned up my best shot without Gabourey Sidibe-ing me. 'Nough said. As a professional photo and multimedia studio, Acco Photo still shows that the small stuff is a priority by hanging a large map that displays the 288 countries whose passport specs they follow. They're multi-lingual (English, French, and Chinese...but they may have more up their sleeve), fast, knowledgable, and a place I'd definitely give my money to again.

What a great little photo shop in westmount square! We went in a few days before Christmas because…read moremy daughter wanted to make a framed photo collage of family pictures for her grandparents. They have a good selection of nice frames of different sizes at reasonable prices. We were able to pick out a frame and print our pictures from her phone on the spot. Not only that, but the nice salesman in the store volunteered to place the photos in the frame and hang a picture wire on it for us, thus saving me about 30 minutes of work at home and doing a much better job of it in the process. I know it's usually easier and cheaper to send things off to Walmart or similar, but for something special there's no substitute for expert and professional service at a place like this.

Call me vain, but I was not ready to look at myself in that piece of ID for the upcoming years looking like that. So I waited that this studio was ready to open. Desinfectant was at the door, spots on the floors were there to help with physical distancing and the 2 ladies that were working were super welcoming and also very surprised that I was the 9th customer coming for the exact same picture, I guess everybody took this time off to update their paperwork. They used proper lighting and light diffusers and showed me several takes to choose from. Honestly all of them were perfect. The difference between the old photo and the new one is huge.
