They finally called. Just to say they won't help me. I went in for an evaluation a month ago. I sat with a counselor, opened up about everything--my grief, my depression, the loss of my brother. I was vulnerable, honest, and hopeful. She told me a doctor would call in two weeks to schedule an appointment. That felt like a long time, but I waited. Three weeks passed. No call. I left a voicemail. Still nothing. So I posted a review here, asking why no one followed up. And today--after a full month--I got a call. Not to help. Not to apologize. Just to say they "talked about it" and decided they wouldn't take my case. I asked why. The woman on the phone said they had no reason. Just... no. No explanation. No referral. No compassion. I came to them in pain. I asked for help. They made me wait, ignored me, and then slammed the door in my face. How do you treat a person like that? Maybe they read my review and, instead of thinking, "Let's actually help," they decided to punish me for speaking up. If I could set my one-star rating on fire, I would. You pieces of actual garbage. This place was a complete waste of time. I needed help. I was told I'd be scheduled with a doctor in two weeks--which was already strange. But it didn't matter, because they never called. Not once. I see Dr. Khol, and she is fabulous. She has given me the tools to deal with my anxiety. The office always answers my calls and is receptive and kind. I cannot speak to the other experiences people have had, but my own has been life-altering for the positive. read more

Definitive do not attend. My teenage son and I were patients. On my first appointment, I was asked to wait at the waiting room, I heard the social worker talking at low about the current prescription name with my name. I felt uncomfortable and shamed that my privacy was violated, with many patience at the waiting room. I been a minority, everyone will acknowledged they office was referred about me. The office is unorganized and unprofessional. The Office scheduled appointments without my son acknowledged. A invoice came home, requesting to pay the appointments he missed. No phone calls was received on the same week as a reminder of an appointments. Unethical and professional Offices. read more

I have had nothing but positive experiences here. The office staff Nicole and Karen are so very caring and helpful. They always have the time and patience for my questions. Everyone is so very understanding and sympathetic. They concentrate on the wellness of every patient that walks through the door. I will recommend this office over and over again!! read more

If you truly care about your experience and patient care, stay away from Shura Hegde at Affiliates In Behavioral Health To see a psychiatrist you are required to see multiple other care providers at the same office. This I feel, is misleading the patient and drumming up more business for the practice. Only after you jump through multiple unnecessary hoops are you allowed to see the psychiatrist. If you have A.D.D and need medication that you have taken for years, expect the staff to lie to you about making a recommendation to the psychiatrist to continue your treatment. When you confront the staff about these lies be ready to get told that you don't have a say in your treatment and that if you don't do what you are told to do you will have to find another psychiatrist. On multiple occasions Shura Hegde called my pharmacy with out my permission and required that pharmacist to disclose my personal information regarding how and when I got my medications refilled and what other medications not related to my mental health I had filled. He never asked if it was ok to do this. He told me that there was a problem and he needed to talk to the pharmacy. I would stay away from this practice and physician.Overall my trust was betrayed and I was not treated as a human being. I was always someone that was not to be trusted. Drumming up business for the practice is more important than having a positive patient/physician relationship. read more

Appalled at how the staff disregards a child in need. I called to get an appt for my nephew by marriage from out of state (came to visit this summer and work for my husband). He has disclosed quite a few traumas that he has experienced and I need to get him help before he leaves in the next 6 weeks. I was told by staff they will not see him unless the mother is present in the office to sign consent and paperwork. While I understand the need for written consent which I would obtain immediately they still refuse since she is not present! How am I to get this child help here in OHIO?! So I asked for the owner, I get the manager Mortin. He was completely rude and dismissive of me. Not an ounce of compassion for my plight to get this child some help. I asked for clarification on who establishes the rules for consent (I will advocate straight to the insurance, state or whomever I need to). He tells me its law, and in further pushing he tells me its office policy. So I ask which is it, law or office policy? Now he's clearly irritated with me. Tells me "ma'am we cannot see him in this office without consent". I ask for the name of the owner, he REFUSES to give it to me. Then tells me to look online, then tells me HE is part owner and still won't provide me the additional information. Wow, I am shocked that a HELPING professional service would act in this way. read more

Absolutely do not attend. The office is unorganized and decrepit, I can only imagine what young children who need treatment think upon first arriving. The office staff was curt and dismissive, which are the exact two adjectives that I would use to describe the doctor who saw me. He acted as though I wasn't even there and that his time would be better spent elsewhere. I was very hurt and saddened by the entire exchange. read more

I have been a patient with Affiliates for several years. Service has always been excellent. They all have been responsive to my needs. Appointments are handled professionally. Dr. Zuchowski is attentive to all I have to say and responds with care to my needs. I would recommend her and the Affiliates practice. read more
