BBB CASE#: 19092854,,Orchid Medical Skin Spa is owned and operated by Angela Jarrell. I am writing…read morethis for my mother who is 75 yrs old. My mother went to this business starting Feb 2018 thru August 2018 and requested lip injections and micro needling for eyebrows. by the time several visits were made, my mother was charged a total of $30,000.00, mother requested copies of invoices of procedures done and of receipts numerous times and was always given the excuse that the printer and/or the computer wasn't working at that time. My mother stated that the reason she has not gone back or complained is that she has felt embarrassed because she has been taken advantaged of due to her age and lack of knowledge. In one month, my mothers credit card was charged $21,051.89,,,,,There is no way possible that she and her establishment has provided $28,000-$30,000 worth of facial treatments to my mother. Also, when I asked, she refused to provide her state license # for verification. The Physician that supposedly oversees her procedures is James M Tinnin, DDS (Endodontist) 1831 Green Acres Rd, Fayetteville, AR 72703 (479) 856-6600, I believe from my research (Arkansas Department of Health, Arkansas State Board of Cosmetology ) it is required for a Physician to consult with patient prior to procedures. Last time I spoke with Angela at that time she also refused to provide me with any information other than his name , I was able to locate this information on my own, I did speak to his office manager, Mindy, she informed me that Dr Tinnin only "oversees" her for Botox and Restylane injections only. If the owner of a business has nothing to hide or is being deceitful It is my belief that they would be willing to offer duplicates of any/all invoices/receipts, instead of excuses, to satisfy customer concerns. Complaints have been filed with Sebastian County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, Arkansas Attorney Generals Office. FSPD. Arkansas Dept of Health. I know that this has been done to other elderly customers. If Angela Jarrell has a problem with this report I would be willing to look at all her receipts and invoice/procedure list of prices. Until then if anyone thinking of visiting this establishment,,, check with the Better Business Bureau CASE#: 19092854, which she refused to respond to or provide them with any requested information. When you get done with your service she tells you that you owe her thousands of dollars! She charges $981 a syringe of Radiesse!!! That's nearly double or what a syringe cost in even LA! I assume she is pocketing the extra money she charges on the syringe as a "tip." My mother paid her over $8000 for fillers because she didn't know any better!! My mom didn't get hundreds of fillers in her face! In fact she barely looks like she got any filler at all. Angela then proceeded to harass my mother through text messages wanting another $2500! For $10,000 my mom could've had a facelift! Angela is a crook and a con artist! I recently found out she does this to customers all the time and has various lawsuits against her!!! I wish I had known this before I sent my mom to Orchid! I also had microneedling done and it was over $600! This is double the cost anywhere else in town was! My face also bled and looked worse than any other photos I found online of a microneedling service. It took a really long time to heal. Now that it's healed my skin looks zero different than it did before the treatment. I wouldn't recommend Angela at all! BEWARE!!!

Everyone at the salon was very sweet and accommodating. It was a nice environment. I went in for a modern bob and got an appointment with the shop owner, John. What I got was an uneven mess. Instead of a stacked bob, I got the back of my head shaved and thinned beyond recognition (I already have thin hair). Then on the sides, it looks like 2 "curtains" that don't even look like the same haircut. I immediately went in to a different salon and she said it was possibly the worst work she had ever seen. She called some junior stylists over to show them what happened and used the opportunity to teach them how to avoid it. I did not complain to John and try to have him fix it, because I just wanted him to put the thinning shears & scissors down. He clearly had no idea what he was doing and I didn't want him to touch it again. I wish I could post a picture so you could see. I went in for a modern bob, which was supposed to be a little longer than chin length. To get it "fixed" to look like an intentional haircut, I'm going to have to get a pixie cut. I have never had my hair that short and I have never wanted to go that dramatic. To add insult to injury, I was charged $45 for the haircut at Mr. John's! Save your money and go somewhere else. If the "master stylist" and shop owner doesn't have the skills to do a basic (and popular) haircut, I would suggest that you go elsewhere for a haircut. I wanted to give 0 stars, but the it wouldn't let me. Trust me, this haircut deserves no stars.

I agreed to long layers (as I've had them before and knew that they shouldn't take too much off the overall length) and she washed it, cut it, and styled it. Imagine my surprise when my hair is now shoulder length. She had cut over 8 inches off my hair and also didn't add any "layers" to boot. I am extremely pissed and will not recommend any body I know to receive salon services- even a blowout- at this location. Paid $75 for them to chop over 8 inches off of my hair that I absolutely did not agree to. Edit: I went in to request a refund and the store manager (I did not catch her name) was extremely helpful. I ended up receiving a full refund for the services. I still wouldn't recommend the salon to others and of course my hair won't be magically lengthened, but the customer service was excellent and the store manager definitely helped soften the blow from my terrible chop.

I won't be shopping this store again because of the attitudes of the sales staff.

Being new to Fort Smith, I rely on Google when needing to find services. This is how I found…read moreLuminessence. I saw Julie in the beginning of 2017 for 3D brows, permanent cosmetic. The initial appointment went fine, and I left with what I thought was a great result. I was happy to pay the $450. Prior to taking the step and making my appointment, I had done extensive research online, and watched copious amounts of YouTube videos, and felt I had a good idea of what to expect. Everything from start to finish, the marking, drawing lines, colors, pain tolerance etc. Within just a few days, after the excess ink had washed off and the skin started to heal, I became aware of the lack of actual symmetry, and what appeared as fading in the middle of the one brow. I returned to my touch-up appointment 4 weeks after the initial appointment, and pointed out the areas of concern. Julie apologized, and ensured me that's what the follow-up appointment was for. So, I laid back down and endured another session. The pain is quite real, even with the topical applied. Again, I left, thinking all was wonderful, only to again, a few days later, realizing nothing had been corrected. The 2nd session hadn't changed anything! This is where I should add, that before EACH session, Julie had me draw how I wanted the brows. She gave me a brow pen. She didn't measure, draw lines, which is what I would expect from a professional. I found this highly odd, but again - one thinks you're in good hands, and dealing with a professional. This time I let a bit more time pass. The tattooing is painful, and having undergone two sessions and still feeling horrible about the result, I wasn't exactly in a rush for a 3rd. I spoke with my husband about what to do. Does a customer even have recourse? The fact nothing had improved after the touch-up session, made me feel a 3rd time wouldn't change anything. The same fading was back, and the lack of symmetry did I was still having to "draw" my brows on every day, just as I had always done. Just as I was about to make an appointment somewhere else, I decided to send Julie an email, explaining my dissatisfaction and disappointment, and to ask her if she would help cover my expense going somewhere else. She replied after about a month, and pleaded for me to come and have her try one more time. Not really wanting to spend another $400 somewhere else, I agreed. But no .. 3rd session changed nothing. Again, Julie free-hands when she tattoos ... no lines, plus she site to the side of you, and not behind. I'm surprised the result wasn't even more horrid. Needless to say, I was done. Just done! After 3 times, with brows that were now turning purple because of the substandard ink used, I gave up. It was time to go somewhere else, and actually get a face again. I made an appointment with the highest ranked micro-blading tech in AR (Affinity), paid the $350 and have AMAZING brows now. For the sake of professionalism, I wrote Julie an email the following day, letting her know what I had done, asking if she felt compelled to contribute to the new expense I had had, due to her lack of skills. This is now 9 days ago, and I haven't heard back. To anyone considering going here for permanent cosmetics - save your money! 6/21/2017 UPDATE - I resent my email to Julie, and she sent me the following answer back: "Thank you for your feedback. I do hate that you were so unhappy with your brows. You and I have worked together at each visit to draw guides to reach your goals. I put strokes in each place you asked for them and you seemed pleased with that. You and I had also discussed another visit last time you were here. Instead of that next visit, you decided to go elsewhere for a different procedure. I am glad you are happy with your recent microblading procedure. Sadly, at this point, there is nothing more I can offer you. Again, thank you for your feedback"
