I went out of town for a few days and when I got back, I saw a big bubble in my ceiling caused by a water leak. Edxon understood the urgency of having it repaired and came out the next day to inspect the damage and provide an estimate and, in addition to giving a very competitive estimate, managed to get someone out to repair it with a couple of days. Both Edxon and his team were very professional, courteous, and did a fantastic job repairing the damage quickly and efficiently. You can't even tell there were repairs made on the wall and ceiling. I called several paint companies seeking an estimate for an exterior paint job on my home. I wanted a company with experience, good workmanship and outstanding customer service. After careful consideration, I decided on Affinity Painting Company. Although, the project took a few days to complete, the workers were on time and cleaned up each day prior to leaving. I meant to update this months ago... About 1-2 weeks after the paint job, I noticed cracks in the paint right above the crib... It's now worse and will eventually peel off, which means I get to hire someone else and do this all over again. This is like the never-ending headache... That just keeps getting worse. I see a post from someone at this business here on yelp. I did receive a phone call from 2 people- the original contractor Pablo after I left him a message, and then from someone higher up on the chain after I posted on yelp. Understandably, I didn't want to deal with anyone from this place rt afterwards bc I was fuming. I never received a bill, so I'll be calling them to settle this. Will it ever end? I just want this to be over!!! read more

The office staff was not responsive at all when I was scheduling the paint job for one room in my home. They originally did not find my invoice though I scheduled it two months in advance, then had to reschedule it and then changed the times on the day of the job without any notice. They promised me follow up calls which I never received. I would give them a 1 star for all the headaches they caused. However, on the day of the job, the painter that came was excellent and finished quickly. read more

This review is based solely on customer service. I would love to have rated the actual service but since the painters failed to show up TWICE in two weeks, that will not be possible. I got a coupon for painting one room for $100 on Living Social. Scheduled my appointment for 8am on Halloween. No call and no show. Since the company doesn't have a hotline on weekends or even an emergency number to call, I had to wait until Monday to find out what happened and reschedule. When I called, I spoke with Ziggy. She said she had to talk to her boss and would try to work me in during the week. She promised to call me back with details. After following up twice with her since she never called me back to even update me, we set my appointment for the following Saturday at 7:30am sharp. I was assured the painter would arrive this time and she said she would call me Thursday to confirm. Thursday rolls around and by 4:30 (they close at 5pm) no call, so I call. Ziggy was not available but I was told that they would leave her a message and that they typically don't call to confirm until the day before anyway. No call on Friday, called to confirm again that afternoon. Saturday morning rolls around and once again, no painters arrive and there is no number for me to call to see what has happened. The unreliability coupled with the complete inability to deal with customers is unforgivable. I should not have to beg for Affinity business and further more, I should not be the one constantly following up. That is the job of management. Extremely dissatisfied and I plan on calling Living Social to get my money back. To date, there is no company I would recommend less. read more

We needed someone to help address an issue when we renovated the office, and that was our interior lighting for product photography and client meetings. There was just something off in our new presentation, as having good lighting is essential creating good ambiance. What "the eye sees" is essential to our business, and we thought we got it right. But after few months we knew were wrong, and needed professional help (before the summer made things really intolerable). We called Affinity after a few recommendations and their main sales rep Albert quickly and expertly gave us advice on what we may need, and put together a great quote. Our "new" white walls were "lifeless, soul sucking" and did not go well with the mood we were trying to generate, and the Affinity Painting team was able to turn our mistake into a "warmer, comforting" environment. Coordinating an available appointment time with their office staff was easy, and the paint crew that was deployed to us did a superior job in a shorter amount of time than we expected, and within our budget. Lifesavers! We had our entire house exterior done by Affinity and are very pleased with their work and service. Albert is always very fast in responding and taking care of things. His crews have all be excellent, clean and on time. Here is where the "lifesavers" comes into play... A couple months after they did our house, we had a new front door installed and I made the mistake of thinking I could just easily paint it myself. Well, that did not go well and I made a mess of my new door (wasted lots of time and it looked terrible) so contacted Albert to see if he could help fix it. He got right back to me and within a few days one of his guys was here and turned my botched job into perfection. As an extra, I had a few little touch ups I wanted done to their original paint job on the house and Albert made sure that was taken care of right away as well. So, lesson 1 .... Affinity does great work, is on time, clean, and has excellent communication. Lesson 2 .... do not try and paint a new fiberglass front door yourself (don't care how much experience you have), if you want a smooth finish, call Albert! read more

Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. I had an appointment for someone to come out and paint my room on Saturday, March 23 at 8 a.m. The painter was a no-show -- and no call. I called the company on Saturday and left a message -- it is closed on the weekends, although I thought maybe someone was checking messages since they had work supposedly being done. Meanwhile, I had to paint the room myself, because I had scheduled a furniture delivery the next day, Sunday (and paid extra for a Sunday delivery!) and I wanted the room done beforehand. My painting skills are, um, not good, but I got it up on the walls. By 11 a.m. on Monday morning, I had not received a call back about the no show. I called again and was told that Ziggy would "call me back by the end of the day." NO CALL. I called again Tuesday and asked to speak to a manager -- I was told "there is no manager." I finally got a call back from Ziggy on Tuesday at noon -- when I started to explain the situation she interrupted me and said,"I know the story." She was so rude, so abrasive, and so not apologetic until almost the end of the conversation that I was ASTONISHED. I don't understand if this is the way they do business why they have any customers at all. read more

Albert and his team did an amazing job. They started with removing our popcorn ceilings, and then refinished all ceilings with plaster, even making sure to do extra layers so that it looked smooth and brand new. Then, they painted several of our inside rooms and hallways to our exact liking. They purchased the paint colors we requested, and everything came out looking beautiful! We picked an accent wall and we have curved wall/ceiling corners (complicated!), and the lines they created with the accent color are perfect. The house was also kept very clean while they worked. When we had a couple of minor things we wanted touched up (around a light fixture and door frame) they came out free of charge and finished it off so we were fully satisfied. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I had him paint my rental property and paid extra for 25 year paint. Turns out after 2 years the paint is peeling. I called him, Albert Abad, the owner and he is like so sad, so sorry. You can pay me again to redo it. Yea right, why would I let you touch my house again. Albert, also did another paint job for me at another location and I had to have that redone after one year. Obviously Affinity uses the cheapest paint possible,but tells you it's the best possible paint and charges you extra. Bait and switch outfit. So fast forward, we are now 4 years later the paint is peeling every where. I had 2 other painters come to look at it and both said clearly he did not prep and prime your house, nor use high quality paint. If you want your paint to look like these pictures, I would highly recommend you choose Affinity Painting and they will do nothing to fix. The funny thing is the old paint underneath is still adhered to the stucco. read more

Affinity painted the interior of my house plus a detached guest house. I couldn't have been more pleased with both the result and my experience with them. Daniel came to my house to give me an estimate which was lower than either of the other two paint companies that gave me estimates that day. He was very pleasant and professional. The company carries full insurance, including workers' compensation coverage which was important to me. Luis and Alex were the two painters that worked on my job. They arrived early every morning before I went to work. They were considerate, pleasant to deal with, and cleaned up after themselves every day. I was impressed with the attention to detail. They left last week and I can't find a single place in the house where they might have done a better job. I would recommend the company to anyone. read more
