We hired SunPro for interior painting and redoing our garage floor with epoxy. You can see from the pictures that our old epoxy was faded and chipped. Andy gave us a fair price considering the old floor had to be removed. The guys were right on time and worked really hard at getting the old stuff up especially considering they also had to get under some build in shelving. At the end of the day, we had a brand new and perfect garage floor. We cannot be happier with the job they did and we have already been passing the word to the neighbors. I had hired SunPro several years ago to paint the outside of my house. They did such a great job that I sought them out to see about doing some work on the inside. We had them come out to look at the project and to give us an estimate for the services we would need. This included interior painting for both upstairs and downstairs, removing carpet and tile and replacing it with luxury vinyl plank flooring on the first floor, as well as replacing carpet on the stairs and most of the 2nd floor. The price quotes were right in line with what we were expecting and were willing to pay. They were not the lowest, but based upon previous work they had done for us, the quality of that work, and the other projects that I have seen from them, it was worth every penny. The crew was punctual and worked very hard. They pay very close attention to detail, take their time to make sure everything is done correctly and beautifully, and they treat your home as if it were their own. Chris, the owner, and Andy the general manger, were easy to work with, always were available for my calls, and took the time to make sure the project was done and that any concerns we had were addressed. They were also able to do a few extra items for us while they were on site, including adding some new lights in the kitchen, replacing all the window coverings, and redoing some decorative molding work in the guest bath. What convinced me that SunPro was the real deal was this policy of theirs: No required deposit before the start of work + payment due at the end of the job with satisfaction guaranteed. Andy Shin was very upfront in saying that while he might not have the cheapest price, there would be no shortcuts when it came to the quality of work yielded. Quality work it was--and done super quickly, too. His quote was very detailed, easy to read, and included licensing credentials + policy. Despite hiccups in terms of phone/email/text communication being as timely as I'd have liked, Andy and his team were on time whenever a scheduled meetup was established. Note that a few portions of the house were a bit banged up during work with a couple of doorknobs denting walls (one even went through drywall, which they were going to fix had my other handyman not done so already) and one closet doorknob being completely broken off somehow (which wasn't brought to our attention, but it was just a $10 Home Depot replacement fix). I was relatively sure any incidental damage would have been fixed/replaced during the job process, but no big deal, I guess--SunPro did work quickly. A minor upset, but I wasn't worried. At the end of the day, everything ended up fixed and the work was completed well. read more

I requested a quote over a month ago and received a prompt response and set a date for Andy to come out the very next day. Andy was very professional and courteous he seemed knowledgeable about working with an insurance claim. He let me know what steps came next and when to expect my estimate, that is where the 2 stars come in. I waited for the estimate and nothing, followed up and nothing. He would answer my calls and tell me that he would get it out that day or next and nothing. Finally a month later I get a very vague estimate missing one whole room on it. I called and asked for this to be fixed almost 2 weeks later I get the new estimate just as vague as the first but Andy said he would call me and go over it with me however that never happened. I waited on Sunpro because I really liked Andy and felt we would be able to communicate effectively. Sunpro seems to be a good company IF they ever get out there. I do want to note for future customers that Sunpro does not provide the materials for your remodel, example flooring or restroom vanity. You provide them and they do the work, in a contractor I expect to just pick and have the contractor provide. So if you are looking for that keep looking. read more

Andy came to our house several times and was great at communicating when we was not able to make it or running late. We understand life happens so we were patient. Based on the reviews and our discussions we really wanted to move forward and it seemed he was a great fit to remodel our house. He had great ideas, didn't seem like he wanted to get over on us. Andy was honest and we really liked his integrity so we told him the job is yours lets sign a contract. After wasting two months of my time, the day we are to sign the contract, he tells me he needs to come the next day instead. Thats fine by us. We understood. I later messaged him confirming the next day and that we really wanted to get started and no message. Its now been 4 days and no only has he not called me back or text me but he never showed up the next day as stated. So I assume he does not want my business. I felt the pricing was on the higher end but totally worth it as I have had experience working with a cheaper contractors in the past and they were not as professional and quality was not the best, so I was willing to pay more for good work. The job took a lot longer than most but only because of weather and schedule conflicts that could not be avoided. At the end of the day, what a great job his company team leader Willie and his crew did and at the final walk through, Willie was more than happy to touch up areas where my movers messed up their work while moving me into our new place during the paint project. I'm glad Andy suggested they start painting before the move date but more importantly, that they finish after all the movers had done their worst, which they did. We had our entire upstairs repainted (hallway, bathrooms, bedrooms, cabinets, doors, ceilings) Overall, I had a wonderful experience with Sunpro. If I could rate Andy alone, I would give him 5 stars for sure! He was so respectful and extremely easy to work with- couldn't have asked for someone better. The reason for 4 stars is because the painters that were sent out were a tad bit messy in their clean up after finishing up each day. After they left on the final day, there were a few things left behind. Can't completely blame them since we told them we were getting new carpet so they didn't have to put furniture back, but still would have appreciated a slightly neater clean up job. The painters also missed some small areas that needed painting but Andy once again is dealing with it professionally and promised to come back and have it finished and touched up. Andy came and did the final walk through before payment and he apologized and actually helped to clean up the leftover stuff. Andy made sure the work was done in time as promised and totally worked with my schedule and was quick to respond to me and my many questions throughout the whole process. The BEST painters and home improvement guys on the PLANET! Above and beyond customer service as well! Read my detailed review below complete with "before and after" pictures of my new house. These guys ROCK!! Of all the improvements one needs to do after buying a new home, The ESSENTIAL one should be painting! And painting should be done BEFORE one moves in.....PERIOD! That being said, after buying my new house I called over 5 different painting companies to estimate the job of painting EVERY SINGLE wall in what was one of the WORST eye soars one could ever imagine! A house painted SO GOD AWFUL to begin with, the previous owners should have been arrested and given life in a maximum security prison for having such TERRIBLE TASTE! But then again, lets be honest; most people have AWFUL taste in general and have no eye for decor! So be warned, the "before" pictures you are about to see will most likely scar you for life! The previous house colors were PINK, YELLOW, OFF WHITE, PURPLE, and a bit of TACKY BLUE! (God, it was even hard to just TYPE those colors) Thank God Sun Pro Painting came to the rescue! Sun Pro Painting was not only the least expensive of ALL the others that bid my house out, they were also very helpful with suggesting some major home improvements that were needed on my list, they offered to combine all these elements into the cost of the job at a VERY REASONABLE rate! Improvements that included: Recessed lighting, Cabinet hinges and handles, Garage shelving breakdown, and even laid down some needed wood flooring. I have VERY specific taste, and am extremely OCD about how I wanted my house to look. My choice of colors were all different shades of gray, with white walls, and green in the bathrooms. I wanted matching accent walls in both my living room and garage. These guys were able to picture exactly what I wanted and executed it PERFECTLY! I had previously chosen the exact paint colors, cabinet handles, and cabinet hinges that I wanted, and not only did Sun Pro agree to take care of my wants, they even FOUND the exact hinges and handles for me at a FRACTION of the cost I was going to pay! (Yes, even less expensive than Home Depot) so I agreed to give them the job! My house is approximately 2k sq ft. They stripped the old paint, primed every wall, and shot 2-3 coats of new paint on and my house looked EXACTLY the way I had imagined! These guys didn't skip a beat and even returned to do touch ups on my walls for FREE after the movers scuffed up a few of the walls during my move. I have 25' foot cathedral ceilings in my house and these guys were able to paint the ceilings evenly with ease, which was a huge worry for me. The customer service I received from Sun Pro Painting was OUTSTANDING! Every time I called them, Chris picked up the phone right away and was there to help, even AFTER my job was completed! Andy was the guy in charge of my job in the field, and was also available for calls anytime one was needed, including weekends and early morning. SunPro painted our entire 1-story house and installed floor molding. They were prompt, courteous, responsive and did a quality job. They took care to move and cover all furniture (and we have a lot of furniture), window blinds and carpeting. They use high-quality Dunn-Edwards paint. They got the job done exactly as planned and on-time. Our house looks great and I am happy with the results. I highly recommend this company for future projects. I appreciate that they did not require a deposit and only accepted payment when the job was done. They were very price competitive and budget conscious. I give them 4 1/2 stars. So why the loss of 1/2 star (you may ask...)? There were a couple of small areas of improvement; these are truly minor and in no way alters my recommendation to use this company. - Upon arrival, the lead asked me about the job and what was to be painted. I asked him if he read the contract; he didn't have it. Huh? Front-office needs to communicate with on-site team. Everything in the contract still got done though. - Upon cleanup, a small amount of paint splatter was spilled on a patio chair. It's a minor thing, but still.... - One AC vent was installed upside down. I didn't notice until after they left. Again, a very minor thing. Takes 2 minutes to fix. Where this company lost me is when Andy took several weeks to provide me with a quote even when I continued to follow up. I ended up receiving quotes from 4 different paint companies that I found on yelp before making a decision. Each company that I received a quote from offered the same services in the quote, but SunPro was charging $1,300 - $1,500 more than the other companies. We were thrilled with our results that were completed this week. We liked everything from start to finish. Andy and Chris both kept in constant contact, emailed regularly, and were able to begin the project in a very desirable timeframe. We have an old house (built 1983) that really needed a facelift prior to a new front yard. Andy came on site and had good suggestions and got a quote out right away and then started on time. Our single story house was done in 3 full days. The crew, whom we found out has been working for SunPro for many years were outstanding. They were professional and courteous and kept the project tidy every day. But the most important thing- the work, detailing etc were first rate. We were concerned about a few areas of wood, chipped, peeling, some with water damage under the old gutters, but as it turned out many needed only patching and they look great. I would highly recommend this company. Andy suggested a trim color that ended up perfect. They began by painting a few color choices in 2 areas to view in different light and that made a huge difference in what we selected. He also offered to return after our new yard work and touch up any areas needed. If you prefer quality over a low price, this is a good choice. Our home had significant weather & water damage to both the paint and the wood. We were afraid that the required association paint requirements were going to ruin the Christmas Holiday and break the bank! I noticed the prep work the SunPro crew and repairs they were doing on homes that were in much worse shape than ours. My neighbor was insistent that I use a contractor that was expensive and didn't appear to be interested in painting our home,"too many conditions." I requested a quote via yelp and received a response within 1 hour. I requested they paint the front of my two story house and the back patio cover. They were able to repair and in some cases replace broken pieces of wood or siding. In a second job I asked them to install insulation on one wall in my garage, put up drywall, tape and texture, then paint the entire garage, walls and ceiling. Awesome! Just Awesome. They are very professional, friendly and fast. We were able to get a quote from Andy (estimator) on a Tuesday or Wednesday and get the house painted 3 days later by the crew. Any other place we called/visited were not as generous with pricing as Sunpro, which was just what we were looking for (maybe a little higher but the job was well done). Andy carries a printer in the car and prints the estimates right away for better visualization...instead of me writing and misplacing the paper. All the other estimators that came by told us verbally what the total would be but did not provide a break down like Sunpro did. We were able to pick 3-4 different colors with no hassle and they understood what we wanted and made the house(interior) look good. They also called back to see if we were happy (which we were), when we told Andy that there has been some paint chips made by the furniture movers, they came back to do some touch ups :) The crew of 3 painters was really friendly and did a ton of hard work...in return we bought them breakfast and a case of water (who doesn't like to drink nice cold water) and they appreciated it. read more
