BUYER BEWARE!! 5 days waiting on a part for my dryer and service man shows up, i am happy to see him, and i greet him friendly, but he is old and very grumpy. Thats ok, he confirms the part we need but immediately starts complaining about the work that usually takes him 20 minutes will take much longer and needs approval. So he proceeds to call the office. on and off the phone ad for probably another 20 minutes (not working) complains of how much work it will be ...on and on... i try and even offer to put it together myself if he puts the part in(NO), i offered to pay extra(NO), then after more complaining and moaning, he starts in on me saying that i may have worked on this dryer improperly and sparks were flying... some crazy story. I stopped being nice and said "there were no sparks and the FN dryer was not plugged in" (while we were on video w the insurance service man). That was it. He said "i do not feel comfortable here with you cursing so i am leaving". At first i thought i really offended him, and even apologized. my conclusion: 1. incompetent: job too hard and too complicated for him?, 2. old, UNGODLY and lazy, with no work ethic? *3. He created this drama on purpose so he didnt have to work, and still get paid? *My definition of a service call scam is: someone taking your money and not providing any service. I have insurance and I prepaid the service call of $125, he finds an excuse to leave or overcharge the insurance company they deny my claim and service man gets away with $125 and NO WORK! and the company will not call me back. not sure if the owner is aware of this practice or cares?? BUYER BEWARE!!!!! especially if you have a prepaid your service call. read more

DON'T GO HERE! SAVE YOUR MONEY, TIME, AND SANITY! We also got the old grumpy guy. He was not just grumpy he was rude. He was rude to my elderly mother. ( FYI he's a woman hater.) He came in already complaining about having to do this job. He looked at the dryer and did IDK what! He hit something inside of the dryer; sparks went flying and smoke came billowing out. We had to open doors and windows to air out the house. Remind you this is December! 30° outside. Then he asked how do we clean the vents (dryer duct) that lead to the outside of the house? My father has cleaned the vents himself for the past 30 plus years and we have NEVER had any problems! This grumpy guy instantly started trash talking my father saying he doesn't know what he is doing or that my father is not doing it right. The grumpy old guy said we needed someone professional to clean out our vents. Well get your facts right dude before trashing people; my dad is professional! Long story made longer.... the guy did not have the part to fix our dryer. It cost us 200$ and 6 days later for him to come back out to "fix" our dryer. our dryer STILL DOES NOT WORK. The "repair man" said we could buy another part for an additional 200$. After 200$ almost 400$, no thank you. We do not want your TRASH work. We are going today to buy a dryer that WORKS. Why should people have to put up with that? You pay money, the dryer still does not work, and you get a rude lazy guy doing the work. Not professional at all! And he won't take account of his own behavior at all. According to this guy it's all our fault. read more

I was told these people knew their stuff on LG appliances so I called them. The technician on the phone asked me a couple of questions and then said go to your washer and let me walk you through a few things which he did and he solved the problem now there's not many appliance repair facilities anymore. I contacted Affordable Appliance due to the reviews I read about the other appliance repair places in the area. Affordable contacted me back right away, scheduled me for the following week and showed up when they said they would. The part my dryer needed had to be ordered so they scheduled the returned appointment for the followed week and again returned at the scheduled day with the ordered part.
