I had placed a request to be contacted to obtain an estimate regarding a stump removal. They never bothered to respond. I would have expected to at least been told if they were going to be delayed in contacting me. Called Christian to get help with a tree trim & give our poor tree the TLC it needed. He did a wonderful job. Trimmed up the tree beautifully and got rid of the fungus growing on it and sealed it for extra protection. Our tree still has some healing to do, but now with the attention Christian has given it its chances are improved. All for a reasonable price. Reached out for a quote on a Sunday night and Christian immediately messaged me back to come out for a quote the next day. Came out on Monday to quote removal of a dead live oak and trimming up some of my other trees. I had a large pecan that died all of a sudden and a 100+ yr old live oak that is my pride and joy, and another pecan to trim. I had a long limb on an oak that I was concerned with breaking in another ice storm. He have me an estimate almost half of what Just Trees was asking. He came out with a helper, a young Anglo man, and cut of some of the ends of the limb. Cleaned up good and cut off some dead limbs in another oak just as a courtesy. I called Christian to evaluate and treat potential problems with my live oaks (old wounds from construction damage and fungal masses). He explained the causes of the problems and recommended treatment. He understood my budgetary constraints and recommended tree care that would give me the most bang for the buck. Mike and Christian are great! They were recommended to me by a landscaper. They are certified and licensed arborists and they also contract to do the actual work, which is a rare combination. I called Mike on Friday and he asked if we could meet the next day, on a Saturday! Of course, the sooner the better! He was exactly on time and he got right to work inspecting the tree. It was a huge ligustrum in the corner of our backyard and was worse for wear. He determined that it was dying and pointed out the ways he could tell. He gave us a written quote on the spot and said it would include grinding the stump. Seemed like a fair price considering the size of the tree and the fact that they would be hauling it all off. We made a date for the following Tuesday. On the way out of the yard, he took a look at two other trees and gave his thumbs up to them. On the morning of, they showed up on time and took down and hauled off that tree in 2.5 hours. Boom! Done! At that same time, I was removing 2 boxwood bushes from my front yard, so Mike took his chainsaw and zapped them right off in about 2 minutes, saving me a couple of hours. They also let me put the remains in their trailer to be hauled off. No extra charge, though I offered. Mike sent his stump grinder (Chuck from Priced Right Stump Grinder) the next day and he took care of business with an awesome machine. All in all, it was fast. We get our trees trimmed every year and this was the first time to use Affordable Arborcare. They were amazing. In the past, a guy would come out to bid the project and the team to show up had no communication on what to do. You won't get this with this team. They bid and they do the work themselves. They truly are experts. We have 4 Oak trees and several palms. One palm is 40 feet tall so we can't trim it ourselves. We also have delicate plants surrounding the base of our trees and they took great care in being mindful of falling fronds. We will use them every year! read more

Affordable Arborcare came and took down a Hackberry tree that was nestled in between our house and the neighbors. The guys worked fast and did a great job. They hauled away the tree so we were left with very little mess - just some saw dust in the grass. They were even careful to protect the grass with smaller branches before dropping the larger portions of the tree.
