No complaints, just praises. Joe and his crew of two spent the day hurricane cut trimming of palms, a 20' tall viburnum hedge shaped up and clearing out our huge oak tree. I've had comments on the oak tree such as "that's gorgeous" and "its beautiful! ". His crew is courteous, friendly and did a great job leaving our property cleaned up. Joe met with the neighbors who share in the oak's overhang to clean up the debris that happened over the fence. Joe's stump grinder guy showed up the next day without any incident. Here and gone in 30 minutes or less. Will keep Joe's number in case my awesome canary island palm doesn't survive the weevil infestation, or is it a fungus it is presumed to have? Joe was professional, courteous and reliable. His communication was excellent in keeping me up to date on arrival time as there was a weather delay the day of service. Joe and his team, (Josh?) went right to work removing the trees we had already talked about and were able to take care of a few additional that we added to the service while discussing what work was to be done once they arrived. Stephanie was one of the ONLY tree service professionals to bother to return my phone call for an estimate to get our tree trimmed. Our HOA was on our backs about the tree limbs sticking over the road and sidewalk and fines were in our future! Yikes! Made an appointment to get a quote and they didn't show up or call. They wasted my time, don't let them waste yours too. Update: They called me around 8 pm the evening of the day I waited all day for them and again the next morning. I called back to give them another chance and they gave a lot of excuses...been busy since hurricane, tried as hard as they could, etc...but I am busy as well and a phone call before I waited all day would have been the courteous, professional thing to do. Seems like they value their time more than mine. When I talked to them I found out they were 2 weeks out with once again long explanations. I had contacted a couple other tree services, one of which came out within hours and gave a reasonable quote and will complete the work in 4 days. I know they do good work cause they did my neighbors trees. I called to cancel with Affordable Arbor care and later received a call about my review asking me to take it down...more long winded excuses...I don't think it's ethical to bother reviewers about reviews based on honest experiences. read more

I had Affordable Arbor Care out to quote removing a couple of large limbs and thinning growth through 3 very large oaks in my yard.
