Of all the many tree service professionals we have used over the past 20+ years, Jay's team was exceptional in detail, speed and clean up. They gave an estimate right away and began work within 2 days. They took on 4 major, very tall Oaks like it was routine to them. They reshaped every large tree upwards away from my house and pool, balanced all the way around. They cleaned out many braches, dead and sprawled new growth. They also completely removed old stumps, ground and cleared them, plus cut some problematic roots throughout the yard, as well as removed some scrub trees and smaller Cherry Laurels. The crew was very polite and hardworking. I couldn't believe how many guys he had all working together to get our massive job done efficiently and correctly. Jay is an authentic Southern "good old boy" with many years of experience. He even worked with the guys we used to use regularly downtown at my grandparents house. Those guys passed away unexpectedly, which goes to show you how hard and dangerous that kind of work is. The crew and their amazing workmanship is truly what you want. Their price is fair and you may need to bargain some things, but for the value, quantity and quality of many large cuts they cleaned out so well - I couldn't be more excited. Our lot looks like a new location! I can see my new roof, which helps protect that investment and especially the open pool. Now the trees let in much more light through the windows and skylights, so that the rooms feel more open and comfortable. Unfortunately, it took them a while to come back to finish the final few things like fill in the tree crevices with tar, as well as some missed roof overhanging and other missed branches in the last tree they worked on, as well as cutting a big vine in a tree we originally were going to have removed. They were supposed to return but apparently we were placed at the end of their work log which was backed up with all the rain. read more
