We had a tree cut down and a large oak tree trimmed today, the tree that was cut down was in between two fences, they were on time for the appointment, but they had the fence panel out and all the rigs set up ready to do work within 20 min. We hired Forrest Stump Tree Service to remove two Oaks in our back yard. They arrived exactly when they said they would, had a very professional 7 man crew. They got right to work and 3.5 hours later were gone. The only evidence that they were ever here is that my two trees are gone! Our lawn is impecable, no damage to our Zoysia grass, not even a tiny limb left behind! They raked everything up. The first time I was having an Oak tree in the easement from the street to the sidewalk and Robert told me the tree was diseased so I called the county and they sent their Arbor out and confirmed that was diseased and the county paid to have it cut down and stump grinned at no cost to me cuz it was in the easement. Ivan and the office staff are great at communicating. The quote took to remove 2 large trees and grind the stumps took 3 business days to arrive, which was reasonable. Their insurance company personally sends you their proof of insurance. The work was supposed to be done within 2.5 weeks. I asked to have it expedited because of an important house situation I was dealing with, and they were able to squeeze me in within a few business days. My yard is very clean minus the track marks from the grinding machine, which is normal, and the grinding debris around the stumps, which is normal practice as well. I got 5 quotes and they were cheaper than all the rest (over 2x cheaper than the highest quote!). read more
