For eight years I wore the best hearing aids another provider could offer and wasn't entirely satisfied. Recently Dr. Drummond examined my loss of hearing and fitted me with moderately priced hearing aids that have consistently performed better than those more expensive. He knows what he is doing. His friendly professionalism was impressive. He cares. I have spoken well of him to friends and relatives and highly recommend him to anyone who reads this review. read more

We are an independent hearing clinic providing high quality hearing healthcare services to residents of Winnebago County, Fond du Lac county, and the surrounding areas.

Meet the Business Owner: Jared D.

Dr. Drummond is a Board Certified Audiologist in the state of Wisconsin. He brings to Affordable Audiology & Hearing Service an extensive background in hearing assessment, rehabilitation, and diagnostics. Dr. Drummond holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater and a Doctoral Degree in Audiology from the University of Wisconsin. Following his academic studies, Dr. Drummond completed a year-long Clinical Externship in Audiology at Marshfield Clinic - Rice Lake Center, located in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Dr. Drummond has gained significant experience in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of hearing loss while working in clinics, hospitals, and Ear, Nose & Throat practices across the state of Wisconsin. Dr. Drummond is committed to helping his patients reach their fullest hearing potential and promotes hearing health and wellness in even the most challenging listening situations.

Specialists? Really. I went to the Ear Nose and Throat Specialists, Oshkosh office. When I…read morechecked in, they told me that I would first need an audiology check. For what I questioned? They told me for vertigo. OK??? So I found out what I knew. I have a hearing loss. Now the specialist part of this. The Specialist sat me in a chair, turned my head, had me lay down, then up, turn my head left, then right. Then the specialist proceeds to tell me that she does not know the cause of the vertigo, but she will send me to another "specialist" to relearn balance. I was in the office for 1 hour and 45 minutes to learn nothing and was promptly billed $426. Terrible. So now I get a response that they reduced it by several hundred dollars? Are you kidding me ? I get crap medical care for over a thousand dollars and they say their doing me a favor by REDUCING the bill? People, this is why everything in medical costs so much. They ROB you; and this is a at a reduced rate! JOKERS!

I love the few Aurora doctors I have, but I will NEVER again go to their ER. I was wheeled in…read morescreaming in pain, was made to sit through intake as I'm screaming, and I was wheeled out screaming an hour later after being treated like a drug seeker. Two days later, I was taken by ambulance (still screaming) to Ascension Mercy and was admitted immediately for intractable pain. Apparently, Aurora needs an acute diagnosis in order to provide care and, if they can't get one from an x-ray, off you go. I never saw a doctor, only a PA who was cold as ice. I asked for a neurosurgeon and she said they didn't have one. The ORAL medication given to me while there was laughable. I was discharged because there was "nothing else they could do." Now I'm sure they have their protocol and probably followed it to the letter. But therein lies the problem. I felt, and told them, that this was cruelty to allow someone to suffer so horribly and do nothing. Are the policy makers completely devoid of empathy? Or does the DEA have its foot on the neck of healthcare? I don't care which, the result is the same. We lose. Ultimately, it is Aurora's loss. Ascension had me inpatient for a week, they gave me what was needed to help control my pain, Ascension at Home was there for me when I was discharged, and I am in my third month of PT. Their care was just that...care. Wonderful doctors and nurses. I had intended to change my PCP as I moved a distance from where her office was located. I was looking at Aurora because I had my cancer care there and they were wonderful. I also have an endocrinologist there who I would follow to the end of the earth. But I've chosen an Ascension doctor because I would NEVER again go through Aurora if I needed an ER. To add insult to injury, they've been billing me since January $1000 for that visit. I may reimburse them for the two tablets they provided me, de minimus as that is. I gratefully paid for the cancer care, and all the specialist's copays, but I will not pay to be treated like a fake and a junkie, much less left to suffer. Worst experience ever.

Went on vacation and forgot my critical heart medication. I SCREWED UP! Called my Advocate Aurora…read moredoctor after hours to get a prescription sent to a local Pharmacy. The triage nurse that answered clearly understood the situation and promised a response in a couple hours. They finally responded FOUR DAYS LATER! By then I had called off the vacation, returned home and taken the needed medication. UNBELIEVABLY POOR CARE!
