She calls us back the next day and says they just placed the order and it would be delivered in a few weeks. Not happy at this point, but ok delays happen. Still no word from Richard about the install. I finally email explaining that this is unprofessional and that this needs to be done by the 15th so we can come up for Christmas. Spoke with Richard on Friday December 17th and advised that it was finished. I show up today, Dec 19th, and it's not finished. Different carpet installed in one bedroom, carpet not tacked down or even cut in some places, furniture in wrong place, doors not installed, random baseboards not installed, etc. I called Richard today and he said oh yeah I didn't order enough so that was what we did and ordered more carpet that will be here in a few weeks. 6 months later and I'm still dealing with this and it is a total nightmare.

We(Sierra Park Villas) contracted JDB for hardscape concrete retaining walls and some concrete…read morestairs. I do not recommend them for finish concrete work. 1. Jordan is very unprofessional in his behavior. During construction Jordan verbally abused one of our board members and two other owners who were present during a progress discussion. We had to ask him to leave the property. 2. Make sure if you use them that your plans are part of the details in the quote. We provided drawings and pictures with details documented. These were also submitted to the city and were approved as the details for the build. His bid ultimately did not reference this document which led to disputes on what was to be built. At one point we had to frame out one of the concrete walls ourselves to get the project done. 3. The concrete work is subpar. The main retaining wall, which was framed as a straight wall, is now curved. Their forms bulged during the setting process and they failed to correct it in time. The finish work, which was to be brushed concrete is a mess. Air pockets on the surface, deep form impressions and uneven surfaces is what we ended up with. When they came out to clean it up and make it right it just got worse. We paid them but I don't see us using them again unless they are willing to make it look like it should. Pictures don't lie.
