Our front and back porches were in dire need of new paint. Of all of the painting contractors we left messages with, only Premier Painting Plus returned our call. Jonathan, the company owner, came out to inspect the condition of the porches and provided us with a written estimate. The estimate was very detailed to include all of the prep work (power spray washing, scraping and sanding) and new paint. The crew arrived on the date promised and got the job done in two (2) days. They were very good at protecting adjacent wood surfaces and nearby objects (such as trees) with plastic tarps. The painting crew was very professional, efficient and experts in prep work and painting. They did a great job in cleaning up the site and even replaced and secured some equipment on the porch that I had to remove before they arrived. The only surprises were pleasant ones. Jonathan's detailed quote stated that they use Dunn Edwards paint. I was prepared to pay extra for the very best quality (Evershield), and it turned out the quote already assumed that best paint. Throughout, Jonathan's crew did not cut corners. They removed all fixtures from walls before painting. Similarly, doors were taken off hinges (and locks/handles were removed) before being painted on a sawhorse. The house had not been painted for at least 10 years and the paint was peeling badly. His team repaired loose boards, power washed and calked around windows and doors. We are absentee owners so we met with him when we were in Mammoth and he did the work while we were gone. He sent daily photos of the progress of painting all the woodwork, a couple of ceilings and refinishing the wood stair railings. Anyone that is familiar with getting work done in Mammoth knows how HARD it is to find a reliable contractor. I had a pipe freeze and burst causing flooding and damage to my downstairs bedroom. My condo is a nightly rental so I had very limited time to get the work done. The first company that came out gave an insane quote because they knew my insurance was paying for it. I found Jonathan on Yelp so I gave him a call. He was out the next morning with a bid to me within hours. He was honest upfront with a time frame even though he knew it was 2 days longer than I was hoping. I appreciated him not lying to get the job and then having the project go longer! Everyday he was on time and cleaned up after himself. He worked the weekend to make sure he could be done in time for my renters and ended up finishing a day early!
