Both companies, in writing, stated that the flooring "wasn't installed correctly". We ended up having to REMOVE the entire flooring and had a competent installer reinstall the entire floor. GH Flooring would not admit to the mistake or correct the mistake. Their response was " its close enough". We recommend to stay away from them. If on the off chance they cause damage to your home, (which they did in our home and refused to take responsibility) or install the flooring incorrectly, they won't correct it. Completely unprofessional and unworthy. Please take heed of our warning and just go with a real professional installer. Do yourself a favor and avoid the expense and hassle of having to do your floor twice.

The first flooring company we used to install the family room floor 20 years ago set up their chop saw in the family room and didn't block off the room from the rest of the house. We were cleaning dust from the entire house for months. Bischof closed off every room, set up their equipment outside and did a great job. They came exactly when they said they would, they did the work expertly and we are very pleased with the entire experience.

They gave us a cap on the number of stains to show us and one of the guys actually took white paint and splattered it on the floor and told us that was what white washed was. Half way through the project we also realized we already had white oak on part of our floors once the carpets were ripped up and Joe's team took the new white oak WE had paid for without even asking us and did not adjust the price after we asked a number of times to see a revised quote. The old floor looked completely different to the new floor that was installed on half the floor. When we reached out to Joe to question this and also finish the job (his team left unfinished sections of the floor and all the shoe moulding), he ghosted us.
