I don't use price as my final determination. I also checked his reviews and they were all excellent. Shane came over my house to give me an estimate and show me some carpet samples. He was very professional and polite. I chose my carpet, put down a deposit and Shane told me when he expected the carpet to come in. He did advise me that there might be a delay due to supply chain issues. While waiting for the carpet, Shane was easy to get a hold of and he was very communicative. The carpet came in when he thought it would and we scheduled the install. When Shane arrived to install the carpet he was very careful and meticulous. He put down clean gripping drop cloths wherever it was necessary while he worked. He made sure that his tools and carpet weren't in the way of foot traffic. Shane is a hard worker and you can see the pride he takes in his work. He completely moved our bedroom furniture, removed the old carpet and pad and installed the new carpet, and replaced our bedroom furniture, in one bedroom, in one day. He not only installed the new carpet but he fixed a squeak we had in the floors of both bedrooms. Shane made sure we were happy with the furniture placement and was very careful moving it. The next day, Shane removed the furniture, removed the old carpet, installed the new carpet and replaced the furniture in our smaller bedroom/office, in a half a day. The products Shane uses are top of the line, unlike Home Depot and he goes above and beyond when installing the carpet. Shane is professional and trustworthy and does incredible work, you won't be disappointed.

When I filed a warranty claim, it was denied, even though I followed all care instructions and the damage was exactly what I was told wouldn't happen. I spent over $10,000 on this carpet, expecting quality and honesty. Instead, I'm stuck with a poor-quality product and a company that refuses to stand behind their own sales promises or warranty. The next day they came they came with 4 people. Two people left mid day and left the other two workers to finish the job. However, our doors no longer fit properly in our downstairs area one door leading to our garage. The two men who left earlier were the ones who had the tools to complete the job. They did not communicate this until right when they were leaving so they needed to come back a third day to fix the doors. We lost a lot of heat through the doors so it would have been nice to have a heads up. However, they did do beautiful work.* Update they came back today and still couldn't fix all the doors. Writing this as a courtesy posting for my mother, who had the absolute worst experience here and…read morewould not recommend it to anyone. She first walked in to Amore Carpet and Flooring on Thursday, October 22nd to request a flooring consultation. When my mother walked in (she is deaf by the way), the salespeople approached her, but continuously ignored her for other patrons. My mother ended up waiting for 45 minutes to be ignored by the salespeople who thought that other hearing clients were more important than her, as she was there well before any of the other patrons (I am appalled by this). She thought it was a fluke (maybe the other patrons had appointments), and made an appointment for Tuesday, October 27th at 11AM. She confirmed with the salespeople that she had the 11AM slot, and was assured that she would be well taken care of. An Amore representative met her at the location she needed flooring to collect measurements. Afterwards, he took her back to the main office (which was very close) to talk about pricing. When they entered the store, the representative left my mother on the side yet again for another client that just walked into the store. May I remind you that my mother had an appointment, and she was being ignored again. The representative continuously got up and attended to other clients, telling my mother 'one second'. My mother got very upset, and mentioned to the representative that this was the second time this was happening, and she had an appointment and should have been the priority of the meeting. To her dismay, the representative got up yet again to attend to another client five minutes later. My mother waited for another 45 minutes, and was never attended to. This shows an absolute disrespect for any clients, especially my mother who is deaf and is a customer that deserves the same amount of attention as any other client. If you are looking for a flooring and carpet company that has any respect for customers with any sort of disability, this is NOT your place. My mother ended up walking out after being ignored on TWO different occasions. DO NOT COME HERE.

But there was a problem from the beginning! The truck-based cleaning system broke down in my driveway, actually it was the onboard generator that runs the cleaning equipement. Walter, the cleaning technician was stranded here waiting for a new truck to be delivered. We chatted for some time, nice guy! The replacement truck was delivered by the owner of the company, Adam. He apologized to me for the inconvenience and shook my hand. I watched Walter work now and then, he cleaned, used neutralizer and smelled the loveseat cushions over and over. He did the cushion cleaning outside on a ground cloth! I waited 4 days to write this review; I wanted to make sure the Pee Smell was gone in both cases.
