There are a number of things that you have to change to become a viable, HONEST contractor. First, you must give your customers a realistic time frame for work to be performed. In my case, the time frame went from 4 weeks to 6 months. Are your employees not trained in proper estimating? Secondly, you need to stay in contact with your sub-contractors. In my case, information was not shared between you and your sub-contractor. It was quite evident because there was much confusion. Thirdly, you need to employ personnel who have respect for your customers' possessions. In my case, many of my possessions were stolen and my losses were never resolved. read more

They took over 8 weeks to finish a small project- one room where the water leaked from a clogged drain on the roof. They started, left heaps of trash everywhere, and never came back. They men they sent were nasty and constantly complained and spoke ill of us, forgetting that phones can translate everything that is being said. They bathroom door was next to the bedroom they were working in, and there was a small area internally where the bed and bathroom were connected, although it was blocked off. The guys always unblocked the area and threw all of our cloths on the floor, instead of simply stepping out into the hallway and taking the 2 steps thru the bathroom door. I confronted them about the truly revolting state of the bathroom after they had used it, but they just stood there pretending to not speak English. It is unspeakable here how disrespectful they were towards our property. There were soiled towels and blankets from the initial leakage, and they guys simply shoved them in the nearest closet on top of all of our clean clothing. I cannot comprehend how awful and lazy and disrespectful these men are. read more

Had a leak around the sleeve of our in wall AC unit. Ercolano finally came out after re-scheduling several times. They looked at the damage, quickly and left saying they would provide an estimate by noon the next day. Here we are several days later, we have called multiple times, left messages, looking for an update and they can't even be bothered to return calls, provide the estimate, or do anything. Had them take care of 2 rooms in my home, a year after the job is complete they are trying to bill me 6k for mitigation work, because apparently there was an oversight with the billing and was never sent out!, after I paid them over 15k by the way, stay away from this place at all costs. read more

I cannot say enough good things. I had a plumbing leak which destroyed my living room. Ercolano sent Mike over and his team did the clean out and demo that very afternoon. I didn't have to worry about a thing: they moved all my furniture, obtained the POD, took great care with all my household items and personal belongings. In March we had an issue with water leakage from a new dish washer and it was terrible. We had about 100K worth of damage to our kitchen and room in the basement. ERCOLANO immediately came to our house and began remediation, even when we were battling with the insurance company. I did an RFQ through Anji to get bids on mold remediation and mitigation on my 120 year old house. I contracted with Ercolano Cleaning and Restoration to do the work. On Wednesday 5/11/2022, the technician arrived at around 8:30 AM. He did not speak English, so he had to resort to a Google translator app. Upon completion of the his work, I asked him what he did and what did he find. I did not get a straight answer from him and he left with the fiberglass insulation that he had removed. I was left with a hole in the kitchen ceiling and no answers. I was forced to hire another contractor to close up the kitchen ceiling, find the roof leak and seal it. I sent an e mail to Alex Dahlgard, the head of sales, for a report on what they found, what they did and the name of their contractor to complete the work. All I got was dead silence. read more

These guys did a great job cleaning all the carpet and tile in a recently closed condo in Southbury CT. It really sparkles now after years of neglect, the carpets are all light and had not so much stains but traffic soil that looked unsightly. I live out of state and the process was easy, they were prompt and complete. I have referred them already. Ercolano cleaning also cleans windows and power washes too, that's good to know for the future. I will use them again. read more

This company is horrible and I would not recommend that anyone use them. Ed was eager to take our money and take on the job, but he and his team did a horrible job at "cleaning". I put cleaning in parenthesis as I am not sure how much cleaning they actually did while they were here. After we called and complained, Ed and one other young man came back to clean up some of what they had not done, but we later found many places that should have been cleaned better. Definitely not worth the money. read more
