I came with issues of a file cabinet lock with a broken-off key inside, and a e-bike battery case lock. They extracted the broken key in under a minute, and advised me on alternatives for the bike battery case. I have been here before, and will return. They have good counter service. I purchased two spare car keys from them a year ago, great price. In fact, the employee who cut my keys (security key without a chip) explain how many locksmith will try to rip me off because the design of my key. He then proceeded to charge me a fair price of $20 for two keys (I still have the receipt). So today I went to get more duplicates made a different employee said the price was now $91. Shocked I asked why...then he said "oh wait, it's $41." When I explained everything about my previous experience, they said the initial employee made a mistake. But here's the thing: the employee I saw about a year ago literally told me that other locksmiths would try to rip me off by doing EXACTLY what I experienced today. It seems they have become what they said they would never be. After I left, I had the key made by a mobile locksmith for $10. What a shame. read more

So glad I found this place! Most of the yelp pictures are not of this building. You will find them in a small strip mall on Florida Ave. between Bearss and Fletcher. They do dealer keys at a fraction of the price. Today my unlock button was missing from my key. I stopped by one other place to see if I could just get a new button and was told no, I would need a whole new key from a dealer. Stopped by this place and they were able to give me a new "case" As they called it for only $35. It looks exactly the same as my old key and cost much, much less. Everyone working here was very helpful as well. I was helped as soon as I walked in the door and while my key was being made several other people asked if I had been helped. read more

I visited the showroom and picked out a safe. When the safe was delivered by Larry, a series of questions showed me that I did not pick out the safe appropriate for my needs. Larry suggested a few other safes and I picked out another one, one better suited for what I needed to store. The safe was swapped out. I couldn't be happier with the new one, a Hollon Black Hawk. Used them for the first time today to replace one lock and re-key 6 others. Called them on a Friday afternoon at 4:00pm, got a call back in less than 15 minutes to schedule a technician to come out, and they set the appointment up for the following Monday morning (today) at 9-9:30am. I got an email at 8:50am that they were on the way, and a call from the tech (Michael)at 9:10am, telling me he would arrive in 10 minutes (which he did). He was extremely polite and respectful of my time, as I was training clients while he was here. He was very careful not to interrupt their training, and worked quickly and quietly while he was there. I had a question about payment, so Michael got billing on the phone and connected me with Kristin, who was also polite & courteous and worked with me to resolve my question. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The company installed Medeco high security locks on my cousins pharmacy in West Tampa. We have also had them out to rekey those locks several times and everything has been top notch. We are currently having an access control system installed by Affordable and we couldnt be more content by not only the price, but the quality of the installation. Great service. This company is shady at best. I called them to get a quote, I explained we had an old filing cabinet that accidentally got locked during a move and that we didn't have a key for it and therefore needed it re-keyed. I asked how much would that be. She told me 108 for up to 2 locks. Great got the ok from my boss to schedule. They come out the tech takes a look says he has to replace the lock they can't re-key a filing cabinet. He never mentioned any price different. When he finished he said he would get me an invoice after he put the drawer back in but I would need to re-file all the paper work took out and just tossed on top. I said that was fine I gave him the cc for payment assuming since I wasn't told anything else he was running for the 108 I was quoted. I was never shown an invoice just showed a signature box to sign on his cell phone. He went to leave and I realized he didn't give me an invoice I went to his van and asked for the invoice, then he stated they would have to email it to me. This is when I got suspicious. So I waited for the invoice (it's been a week and we still haven't recieved it). My boss checked the business account and saw they charged us 210 more than double the quote. When I called to dispute this her first reaction was you can't re-key a filing cabinet so the quote was wrong in a sorry about your bad luck tone until I started to get mad and assert myself. Stating that they could listen to my original call I was very specific and I was never told you couldn't re-key a filing cabinet nor was I told there was an hourly fee after the first 45 min. Stating he was here 2 hrs. My boss has a doorbell cam he was here 1 hr 20 min. Then it was all I'm so sorry this is not how we run business we will take care of this I will have Ken (the owner supposedly) call you. I called daily for an update and waited 2 days before I spoke with him. He basically made it clear he didn't believe me and left it at well i'm going to have to talk to the tech again. Again didn't hear back so I followed up. He basically claimed it was he said she said. I told him this was why I requested for you to listen to the original phone call. He stated only some of there calls are recorded and coincidentally mine wasn't. This is B.S. I have worked for service companies in the past and currently... if the calls are recorded they all are. He was only willing to offer a credit to be used on a future srv call. I explained that realistically we won't be using them again. read more

My initial phone call was returned right away and they were easily able to come out at a time that worked for me (my situation wasn't urgent so we could schedule it out a few days). The technician was running a little behind the day of my appointment, so he called to let me know and gave me his approximate time of arrival. He was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained everying that I needed to know about the locks that were being installed. He was very courteous and personable as well. It didn't take him long at all to do the work and everything worked and looked great when he was done. I will definitely be using them for all my future locksmith needs. read more
