They suggested an air filter change as it was dirty. I said go ahead. Should have priced it first but that is my issue. Upon picking up the vehicle the total was now $171.29!! That means the air filter and labour to install was $102.61! I was a but shocked at the time but paid the bill. After researching online with prices I called them back to report my displeasure with the amount. They were not impressed and simply claimed that it was normal amount for what they did.

The first time I brought my car in was because my engine was failing and the previous shop just wanted to change the oil pump even though I knew it was complete engine failure, but they refused to drop the oil pan even though I had asked them many times to check there first as was suggested by many on the car forums. That's when my brother suggested I try Mountainside Auto as he had been going there for years and was very pleased, so I got my car towed immediately there. Luckily I brought it to these guys, they dropped the oil pan immediately and diagnosed engine failure.
