I was involved in a rear end collision and was advised to go here by my insurer as it was an…read moreapproved repair facility. I wish I had not bothered. The vehicle was in the shop for a month, and I was given excuse after excuse, and conflicting information about when the car would be ready. 30 Days for a repair, and that was just the beginning of this saga. When the car was rerurned, I noticed that he rear door did not close properly. I returned it - they had it all day, and when I got it back, it still did not cllose properly! Iended up fixing this myself. Then we had a rainstorm, and I noticed that thhhhhe trunk mat was soaking wet. Upon removing the mat, I found that the rear wheel well was 1/2 full with water, the place where the jack goes contained water too. Back it went for another 2 days, and I was told that they must have forgotten to put seam sealant on ! It was retuned, then when it rained again, I checked for leaks and the same thing had happened again! It went into the shop again for one day, and they said it was a leak from the rear light. When I got the car home, I noticed that the rear light lens had not been replaced properly and was not flush with the body. I fixed this myself. When shutting the tailgate, it has never sounded quite the same as it did before the accident, and the tailgate rubber seal does not look as though it has been fitted correctly. Yes, there is a lifetime warranty on the repair, but you don't really expect to have to need that, do you? If Iam ever unfortunate enough to be in an accident again, and my insurers recommend this place, I will tell them exactly where they can go.

After 4 weeks in their shop and numerous lies and incredible tales (see report I filed with the BBB below) we got our van back only to find the speedometer does not work. My wife drives the van and has just told me tonight there is steam or smoke coming from under the hood. Filed against: Discovery Collision Inc 5135 Fairview St Burlington ON L7L 4W8 Complaint Description: The van was sent to Discovery Collision for repairs resulting from a vehicle theft, driver door, lock and handle as well as ignition. The van was stolen between Sunday night and Monday morning Feb 24 2014.A Police report was issued 2014-42932. The van was recovered the following night. Park Towing released the vehicle and it was towed to Discovery Collision Wed Feb 26. DC told me the first thing needed was a mechanical check, the estimate was not completed until over a week later Mar5/6. The week of Mar 10-14 the excuses started when talking with Glenn, they were short staffed, waiting for parts etc.Glenn told me this week it was ready for paint. Mon Mar 17 Glenn promised for Tuesday. Tuesday Mar 18 Glenn now says they could not reset the airbag warning light/code and needed to send to the dealer otherwise the van was done. Thurs Mar 19 called DC could not get thru to anyone. Fri Mar 20 I called State Farm to tell them of the situation. State Farm Adjusters office called DC and got thru, but the story had changed again. State Farm said DC told them the door lock is broken and needs to be fixed and that DC could not reset the alarm, but the van was ready days earlier? The van does NOT have an alarm system. yet the van was ready for paint Mar 10, the repairs would be the first thing you do , BEFORE the painting. I called DC and ask Glenn did he get the van back from dealer, now he starts to tell me about the door lock broken and the alarm system horn going off that they can not stop. Glenn asked if I have a remote, I tell him he was given the key obviously and there is no remotes for the vehicle and I tell him there is no alarm system for the van. When I asked him about how he promised me the van days earlier, he says they "overlooked" the broken lock. The door handle was preyed open, how could anyone over look the fact the door lock may be broken and should be checked? I knew then Discovery Collision is Mickey Mouse and really don't know what they're doing. Mar 23 no van. I sent my agent an email asking them to notify the head office at State Farm to not send anymore vehicles to this shop. Mar 26 picked up van and paid (insurance) $1964.17. I followed my wife up the street to put gas in the vehicle (it was completely dry) this is when we noticed the speedometer was not working. Thinking since they could not get a horn from going off who knows what they disconnected. Being promised initially the van needed to go through a mechanical check, Why was this safety concern NOT noticed. Mar 27 I sent an email to Discovery Collision and to my State Farm agent James Farmer. Mar 31 I called State Farm main office 1-888-521-1025. I was advised that I could take it somewhere else. My agent James Farmer responded to my email on Mon Mar 31 April 1 2014 I have not had a response from Discovery Collision. I took my car in for a full quarter panel replacement and paint job. I ended up also needing outer…read morepans (wheel wells). After getting my car back, months later, I found the paint job was a complete joke! The entire car had orange peel and there were dozens of little imperfections (like bits of something in the paint) which proves there was no way the car was wet sanded. On top of that numerous areas had not been painted: * Tops of tail light holes * Tops of fenders at wheel wells * Inside of both side mirrors * The area between the firewall and windshield * Inside of front grill opening * Underside of hood * Underside of the car * Front valence had many pock marks and small depression * Numerous depressions on both sides of car * Adhesive used on seams was smeared When I took the car back there was minimum improvement. * Still several areas of orange peel * Still many small bits in the paint * One seam looks like it was repaired - the 3 others were not * Front valence still had pock marks and depressions * Many small depressions still on both sides * Underside of the car still not done (I was told it was dirty) * Found several light and dark spots on the car as if it was never primed before paint * The car was covered in dust therefore the car couldn't be properly examined Paint job was still a joke! There is no way it was properly blocked if it was done at all and there is no way it was properly wet sanded and it's doubtful the car was ever primed. Unfortunately this is very difficult to show in a photo but these other problems were not: * Driver side door was not aligned; upper part of door sticks out, lower part too far in * Passenger side is even worse; the door is too high, upper part bows in and bottom sticks out, gap at bottom - all over the place * Trunk lid has been so distorted to try and make it fit, it will have to be replaced; bow in the middle and both sides are bowed; gap around is a joke * Rear valence looks like they used their foot to put on adhesive proving little or no prep before paint * Two holes in the roof where drip rail was cut out and just left; I guess the POS thought I wouldn't notice the back seat filling with water * Rear bumper doesn't align properly from side to side or with valence * Love to show you underneath the hood but can't because they broke the hood release If you're wondering why the car looks like it has been in a barn for a year - that's exactly how I got it back. Second time I took the car back all it got was more damage and more dirt/dust. This video clearly shows a large gap filled with some kind of adhesive. That seam should be together. I guess the POS thought I wouldn't notice the quarter panel wowed out. This POS knew this work was pure shit long before it went to paint but kept telling me everything was perfect and kept taking my money. This POS isn't qualified to paint your nails or restore your tricycle, let alone work on cars. Even though I am seeing this absolute joke with my own eyes, I find it hard to believe that someone with decades of "experience" could do this. The only conclusion this leads to is that this POS intentionally ripped me off for almost $15000 and also did many thousands of dollars of additional damage to my car. There's no way this was a one-time thing. Anyone who has had work done at Neil's Auto Body and Sales ltd. I strongly suggest you have it examined by a professional in particular make sure you got what you paid for. Please, anyone viewing this tell everyone!
