Even better, they provided higher quality paint than what we discussed initially at no extra charge for us!!! Since it is new house and we were bringing lots of new furniture into the house, inevitability scratching walls, the team came back once we settled and filled all new scratches on the walls, and painted small imperfections we created. I rehired them again 6 months later, since there were several small painting projects all over the house. They came again, did great job painting and did not even charge me, stating they considered it as part of the larger work they did for us earlier. Romeo replied to a Yelp RFQ and quickly came out to quote our project. The quote was very reasonable, and they were able to schedule the project quickly. Also, he was responsive via messaging and text, which is always really nice! Romeo & one of his team members came out to prime & paint our new nursery and another wall in 1 day - the previous owners made a living room accent wall an extremely dark brown (why?), which they easily covered with a brighter color and it spruced up the entire room. PLEASE do not hire these guys. I had them here for 5 days with a 6 thousand sq foot house just before Christmas. We waited years to paint this home, I moved in in 2014 & was so excited to have this done. There's so much wrong but I will try my best to be brief. They were here 5 -8 hr days at 2000 a day. He claimed initially he would be here over a week possibly 2 & we agreed to paint the whole house except for my bird room. They left 13 ceilings either unpainted or not prepped & in a stripe pattern from shoddy work. See photos Trim in numerous areas left unpainted, he tried initially to paint my home one color when it's a combination of different light colors that all he had to do was have them matched. He knew all this but tried to paint The Whole house one color claiming it's no big deal because he cannot tell the. These guys have no pride or conscience. Owner then talked me into painting at least 3 rooms in the color he tried to paint the whole home in to save him money while incessantly complaining about how expensive paint is. My lower kitchen he did the same. It's the wrong color after him & I walked around with switch plates so he can match the color correctly, but he couldn't accomplish this either after the first big color issue. His crew who makes a living off paining another guy said he cannot understand how people get so worked up over paint colors. He never bought the paint for the lower kitchen. What he did was have his couple guys paint half the wrong color & said "oh another color mishap" asking me if they could just finish with wrong color. At that point I knew I was being scammed. I'm a woman alone at the moment & he took advantage in numerous ways. I told him to go ahead & finish as I knew I would have to get someone else to fix. They rushed out of here that day and he wanted his 5 thousand 2nd payment to be cash which I gave him giving me sad stories about his divorce & 3 children & how bad the mom is with Christmas being in a day how he could not cash a check due to the holiday. Nothing normal or honest about my experience with this company. Shady from the beginning. These guys have no morals or work ethic. I have dozens more photos & videos I will be posting. Just wanted to get this in so anyone thinking of hiring will think twice. This whole site here of his is fake. He has no location, real name etc. I have his license plate with his crew though & know who he is. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS. The walls that were painted, most were left not prepped or repaired. Just painted over the dents etc After he left on Christmas Eve I became very ill with pneumonia for close to a month. A family member staying at my home alerted me to look at the paint when I get home from hospital. SHOCKING He did initially offer to fix the walls I did see after they left. I do not want these people back in my home after the lies regarding the pain & most obvious their awful work. It's a whole job again to redo. Imagine. This owner says they did a great job & these are SMALL issues that ALL PAINTERS LEAVE after seeing dozens of videos of each room. This is really an absolutely top-notch team; I cannot believe the amount of quality work Romeo and his crew got done in a matter of days. This is the fourth time I've worked with them on our second house and cannot imagine going anywhere else. This time, we had a pool house that was in a severe state of disrepair, floor to ceiling. The roof had been leaking for years and there were huge sections of sagging and rotting drywall, parts of which had fallen in. They came in and repaired/replaced all the damaged drywall and fixed everything and anything that was required. As the job progressed, I found different things that I wanted done that I had not mentioned in the original consult - new light fixtures (20 foot ceilings above an empty swimming pool, not an easy task!), new fans, an additional room, some tile work, etc. Everything I threw at them was done inside of the same project on the same timeline for NO additional cost! This project went so well that on his way out the door, we asked him to come back and paint the pool bottom...along with the laundry room, bathroom, and back hallway! Now it's two days later and 100% complete! The room is absolutely amazing! Romeo has always made it very clear that if there's ever a problem, he'll come back and resolve it and he has always stuck to his word. I believe the first job he ever did for us in Clawson, we had a crack in the ceiling that showed up a few weeks after the job had been completed due to settling. Romeo came back, covered all of the furniture (again) and banged it out in an afternoon, no hassle, NO CHARGE. I've recommended Affordable to friends and coworkers before and will continue to do so. Amazing!! We have had bad luck with people doing work for us lately so it was refreshing to finally have something go as planned. We needed someone to smooth the walls of our half bath that were damaged by layers of wallpaper, and then paint the bathroom. I contacted Romeo on Saturday, he came for an estimate on Sunday, and the job was completely done on Wednesday. The price was extremely affordable and the bathroom looks fantastic. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy- even painted the door and put on a new wall register without me asking. The job went pretty late (he didn't leave until 10:30pm!) but I was just so glad it was getting done, I didn't mind. Romeo ended up taking $50 off the price for the trouble, though.
