I did read the womans somewhat negative comment about Mr. Wheeler and to his credit when I called him he did inform me that the tank door had to be exposed because he DOES NOT DIG THEM UP. At any rate Mr. Wheeler done a fine job for me and I would most certainly recommend him to anyone. In fact (I forgot to mention) he cleaned my brothers tank the next week with the same results.

Brandon and Cole from Drainfield Solutions arrived bright & early to begin the process of draining and excavating our septic today. We were all signed up for a new distribution box installation as well but that's on hold now that the guys discovered the old box is fully eroded and our drain field is failing. Oh no. That's the bad news. The good news is, in our experience, the office is responsive and easy to communicate with regarding schedule, payment contracts, etc. The workers are friendly and enjoyable to talk to, but also professionals when explaining their findings to someone like me who's never seen an excavated septic before. I can't say we did a ton of research on pricing but although this is an expensive endeavor, I don't feel gouged. I am taking some comfort in previous Yelp reviews, assuming others have looked into that aspect. We were quoted up to $3700 as a ballpark w so much unknown until the dirt was removed. Now that the unexpected has happened we are waiting to hear what the damage will be, all told. The home inspection report showed nothing indicating that the roof needed to be replaced. The pictures that my insurance company took show a part of the roof Scott did not show on the home inspection report. How would I have known about that if it was left off of the report? Also one of the pictures the insurance company took is one of the same angles Scott did take and the report does not indicate that the roof needs to be replaced. I've spoken to Scott about this negligence in his fact finding and he takes no accountability nor offered a refund. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
