If you like a high dollar, poor workmanship sorta deal, this is your place. We had them come out to add an outlet. They cut a massive piece of drywall out of our wall, and the outlet is not even installed straight. Our room where the outlet was installed was left a mess. Very quick but poor workmanship. The only saving grace of this place is that their office manager is such a sweetheart. So polite and kind. But a high bill and an additional $50 in supplies later to fix my wall, I finally have another outlet. read more

I would give 0 stars if i could, but need to warn others of the dishonesty of this company. we had them come out and trouble shoot some wiring issues we had. the technician didn't have a tool in his truck so had to go back to the shop to get it. WE GOT CHARGED FOR THE WHOLE TIME HE WAS GONE. What a great business model right?! If I were them, I would do that every work order and just charge for the hours gone having lunch. Absolute BS. This company is awful - no customer service, no follow through and no communication. I've even filed a complaint with the BBB and the BBB can't reach them. They came recommended but I cannot believe another vendor would recommend them. I was told one charge over the phone and when worker came to give an estimate, I was told it would be over $300.00 when I had already paid $129.00. Lakeside responded same day when our septic alarm on Lake Anna went out, got there in the afternoon, and worked several hours to replace the pump (had to go get a new one), then stayed around to make sure the pump cleared the water. Also checked the house for leaks. Really great job and extremely responsive. They are now on my "tried and true" list of repair folks. read more

Was surprised to receive an evaluation of my septic system that included a statement that I needed a "riser" for the top of the tank for $570. My septic tank is all-concrete and extends approximately 6 to 8 inches above ground level. A riser is unnecessary since it is presently easy to access. read more

They may be good electricians, but not for septic inspections. They did not pump out the septic tank to inspect and could not find the distribution box even though they charged me $315 to look for it. I had to hire another company who found it right away and paid them less for the proper inspection. read more

Appointment made for 10:30 am, Fri Mar 27, to do estimate for electrical work at residence in Lake Anna area. No show. Called at 11 am and left a message. When call was returned at 11:05, person acted like they had no knowledge of the appointment. Then advised that they'd be here in 45 minutes. Unacceptable not to even call and say they'd be late. Serves as a indicator of the service, so would never trust them to actually do work. Will find another business. read more
