I called Bark Place told them the situation. A week later it's finally delivered. Didn't receive any phone call to alert us they were coming (we requested). We were supposed to pay with a credit card, they marked us for a check (I never use checks!). When I called the main office, the man who answered the phone was grumpy about having to write a new ticket about the payment. Rather rude when it wasn't my fault. So when I finally got home that day I went into the the field to check the compost. It's not even compost! It was just raw mint waste they pulled from the field. Compost is well, composted. And it looked incredibly short too! We ordered 10 yards and it looks more like 7yds. Called the main office, left a message. Manager calls me back and basically says tough ... Order from them and you'll need to TRUST they are honest about the measurements. They have no scale nor any records to make sure you get the full paid for amount. I will never be ordering from here again.

(He now works alone - does not have a crew anymore like before). Well, he took offense and said he didn't think he wanted to do this job because of our comment. We told him we like his work, just let people know if your going to be real late. So he stood there for a minute and walked down the street, got in his truck and left. What blew my mind is that they didn't clean anything up, appeared to take zero precautions to protect our tree and plants, and couldn't do so much as leave a note or try to contact us.
