We went back the following day to have it replaced, but the owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. He asked for the receipt, which my girlfriend had unfortunately lost. I showed him the bank transaction as proof of purchase, including the store name, date, and amount, but he still refused to replace it. I ended up leaving the rice in the store and walked out. There is a African American young lady who has worked there for yearssssss! She is very nice and helpful and the female manager/owner is fairly nice but the manager/owner the young lady calls him 'Doo or Du' and he is EXTREMELY RUDE in his rare occasions when interacting with customers. He lives up the the stereotypical commentary in the community of how you serve a community of minorities but you treat them poorly, poorly is putting it nicely. I went in the store for the LAST TIME!!, a few months ago. Another customer in the store asked a question about a wig his response was unpleasant and demeaning. Initially I moved past his comments because she stepped up for herself and said 'are you having a bad day?' enough said to make the initial point. Shortly after that a African American man came in the store to get barber supplies. The lady asked another question related to her purchase again 'Doo/Du' was very rude. She moved on to getting other items. I then asked about braiding hair just as the other lady the price listed over the item is not what price 'Doo/Du' quoted and quoted rudely. I said 'sir the here is your sign that says____________'. His response 'well that's the price if you don't want it you don't have to buy here we have plenty of customers'... huh??? The African American guy out of nowhere said 'I sat here and watched you talk to those ladies like sh**, why you gotta talk to them like that? Come on man!' That was it! in the end we all put out stuff down and left the store. You may have plenty of customers but there are also plenty Beauty Supply stores as a matter of fact three within the next 5 blocks. Good Bye Doo/Du whatever your name is!!
