When I got home and took it out of the box, I discovered the lace was damaged (I so wish I had taken a picture if I know I'd be writing this review). I immediately called the number listed on Google but go no answer, straight to voicemail--so I had no choice but to drive back in the rain. I spoke with who I believe was the manager or the owner's son. After checking my receipt, he returned with a replacement of the same wig and, in a very nonchalant and rude manner, accused me of causing the damage, loudly stating that it was not a manufacturer defect and that "someone" must have tried it on and pulled it out. This was extremely untrue and unprofessional. This was a $50 quick wig. I can replace it easily, and I would not have driven through the rain if the damage had been my fault. Your business sold me a damaged product, and instead of handling it professionally, emotions took over. This is my first time here and I am highly disappointed. Please do better.

But on the contrary at the Hair Outlet Beauty supply store. I have been searching many weeks and places for a specific half wig. I had a picture of the item on my phone that I was interested in purchasing. After my pedicure I was driving down Woodland Avenue anyway so why not give it a try. When I went into the store I was greeted by two of the workers who asked how they could assist me. I was very impressed with this because generally you can walk around for a long time before anyone even addresses you in beauty supply store. Once I showed them the picture of the item one young lady said 'we do not have the specific item but we have that brand and something comparable to the item you're looking for'. She addressed the other young lady and explained where she would be able to locate the item. I was asked to follow her to the back of the store where the wigs were. I was shown several options and offered suggestions of how I could make the styles they had available appear the same as the one in the picture. Since I'm not creative I didn't take the chance but, I really did appreciate all the effort they showed an offering customer service. For that alone I will return to make purchases in the near future.

The minute I walked in to this store it became my favorite one. First, I must say I was very impressed with the deals they have. Unlike a lot of hair stores, they ACTUALLY mean DEAL. I'm a picky girl so I compare a lot when I make any purchase. Based on my good research, this store's prices generally run a lot cheaper than other beauty supply stores or online. Second, I was impressed with the size of the store and the selections of extensions. Products were neatly organized and easy to find. Lastly, the staffs were friendly and they professionally helped me to choose my body wave. The lady showed me several options including Remi and virgin hair and I decided to go with their virgin hair. It's been almost seven months now and I'm still wearing it. If you need hair in Philly, this is the place to go.

The ladies in the pink jumpsuits were very friendly and quick to offer recommendations and advice if you ask. My only two critiques: 1. The area right by the front door got very crowded. If you walk a little bit further in towards the back, there were much fewer people with the same exact products to play around with. 2. Some of the samplers needed to be thrown out (dried up, nothing on the bottom). I liked that they had a lot of swabs, makeup remover, and hand sanitizer on hand, but that doesn't really help if the sampler product is useless. They're running a promo now where if you spend over a certain amount, you get a free pink mug!
