They have extra add ons like hair masks, Treatments, make up, etc. Place is aesthetically appealing and has lots of natural lighting. I came in for a work event expecting a simple styled look and left extremely disappointed. I originally booked "Cut & Style" for $55 but was told I needed the $75 "Up Do," plus $10 extra for a basic braid--which felt unreasonable. Then once we started, they told me they didn't have the bun donut or the rhinestones the style included. What I ended up with was a simple curled ponytail I could have done myself at home. On top of that, the $75 service includes a wash and dry, which I never received. I had to argue at the register just to avoid being overcharged. I left feeling robbed. A salon should be properly stocked and transparent about what they can actually provide. I truly hope management reaches out, because the quality of service I received was not worth what I paid, a refund is in order! Today, I got a gloss and a haircut and really liked my stylist, Sarah. She was very professional and did a wonderful job on my hair. The only thing I ended up hating was that another client ruined the cool, relaxing vibe that existed in the back while I was getting my gloss done. This client had her Internet service provider on speaker phone as she proceeded to work through issues she was having with her home service. It was rude and inconsiderate and I had hoped they would have asked her to please turn her speaker phone off in consideration of others, but that didn't happen and I had to just listen to this entire service call at full volume. I have also gone blonde to brown for @ 150. they have always charge me extra for density of my hair. Per past receipts around $50 called extra shot for extra time and product . This past visit they charged me $165 extra. For total of 300 for full color priced originally at 120. Would not recommend and Extremely disappointed. read more

Whatever you do do not go to the salon for any type of hair services. The stylist damaged my hair on the first visit with visible bleach, spots, harsh lines, and discoloring. I gave her another chance, and I went a second time for a "correction," which I heavily, heavily regret. She still left me with discoloration and bleach spots, but not only that, she damaged my hair without remedy. My hair literally broke in chunks right around my face because she went over the already bleached spots. They might be good for blowdry and normal hair color, but if you want something more advanced like a balayage or special effects, do not go here. I already filed a complaint with the Texas Department of regulations and I filed a dispute with my bank because that's how bad it is. I have been asking them for the license number of the stylist for almost 2 days and they just told me to email them and they still have not replied. I just spoke to the manager, Lilly, on the phone, and she's telling me, THE MANAGER, that that is beyond her scope and that I just have to wait for the email. They cannot pick up the phone or simply write it down from where it is exhibited in the salon and give it to me. Do not go here. They will damage your hair beyond repair if you want specialized services. I had to pay a significant amount of money to get my hair fixed. No rating, it was terrible, charged me $290 dollars. Went in for light blonde and they did caramel color, same color I had. I told them to redo it and 6 hours later it was blah! then a week later, they called me and said I owed them for rootmelt and for the extra color they added. I said no way. I declined the rootmelt and you better not charge my card for that extra color. I would have done a police report. Run don't walk into this business in Brownsville, Ridiculou! read more

Don't get your hair colored here.. went to the McAllen location to go from blonde to brown and my hair turned green. Thought I'd give the Brownsville location a try and the same thing happened.. I asked other hair stylists for their opinion online and they said the process from going blonde to brown is done by filling the hair with a color such as red, then brown.
